(Jan 7th upd)A Few Words of Love FF prt16-pg17

Hi!
So, I was thinking of writing a FF for RKAB, and I couldn't think of any idea's, I asked you guys, and basically all the answers I got 'there must be YuRa scenes.' So, my I finally came up with something'it's kind of different, I tend to get bored with the same old run of the mill stories.
Ok, so here goes'.



Part One

Rani's eyes filled with unleashed tears as the small and stuffy taxi pulled away from her mother's, grandmothers, and little brothers sobs. She could see her sweet little Munna clutching her mothers hand and shaking his head in anger and sorrow, and as the taxi made an uneven left turn over the dusty gravel, the last thing Rani saw through her tear blurred vision was her small family of three waving her off to a future not even she knew.
She wiped her tears, and adjusted herself on the seat. Her salwar stuck to her body due to the intense heat, her mothers container of laddoo was clutched tightly in her lap. She took a deep breath and replayed in her head the events which led up to the very moment of her departure'.
Rani smiled and looked up to her mother when she put rice on her plate'..she was just about to put the rice in her mouth when Munshi Jee walked in.
'Hello, hello'eating I see!' He remarked with a half grin half groveling tone.
'Please do join us Munshee Jee' Mother motioned him to take a seat.
'I would love to!' Munshee said without even a moments hesitation.
Not to long went by, when Munshee brought his head up from his plate and looked up at Mother.
'Bhabi jee! I have great news for you!'
Mother just smiled and nodded. 'Yes?'
'As you know, your Rani has passed top of her class! That is wonderful for our village, and in the city, there is a school that is excepting all the honors students'.and the good news is'..it's for free!'
'I don't understand Munshee Jee' Exclaimed mother.
'Let me tell you, the School in the Palace is excepting all the top students from local villages. Raja sahab wants to educate these children for free, because he wants them to be the people who maintains all the finances, and be the heads of the many things that go on in the palace. This is a great opportunity not only for Rani, but you as well!'
Rani couldn't believe what she was hearing'if she gets a chance to attend the Palace Private School, that would mean that after she finishes, she would receive a very important job working for Raja Sahab. That would also mean that when she does receive the job, her family and herself would be allotted a place to stay in the palace. My god Rani couldn't believe what she was hearing, then reality hit.
Rani slowly looked up at her mother. Her mother knew how her father wanted Munna and Rani to be successful, Munna of course would be, but everyone knew that Rani's condition would not give her the chance to be a successful women.
'Munshee Jee, I know Rani's father would love this, however, you know what Rani's condition is. How do you expect me to send her off?'
'Oh, Bhabi jee! Don't worry about it! I know Raja Sahab takes very special care of his students. Rani will be fine, you must understand, if you don't let her go, she will never discover the world, and if she doesn't discover the world, then what will happened when you are gone'
Rani's head sharply went up at that remark. Her angry eyes looked accusingly at Munshee Jee
'Don't get angry Rani, I am just trying to make her understand-'
'You are right Munshee Jee, how will she ever figure the world out if I don't let her go. And plus, her fathers dream of seeing his daughter successful is coming true'
Mother looked lovingly at Rani. Rani got up and have her a hug.
'Go jaan, make us proud.'
Amidst all this, everyone failed to see Munshee Jee's sly smile.

Rani awoke with a start. The taxi made a jolt, and she could hear the driver asked her something. She shook the sleep from her eyes, she looked to her left, Munshee Jee was fast asleep.
'I don't know which way to go'..which way girl?'
Rani shook her head. 'Which way girl!'
She shook her head one more time, but she reached out and poked Munshee Jee, 'Which way girl'what the hell, goongi hai kya?'
'Yes she is you stupid driver'.' Munshee Jee made that statement as he was groggly opening up his eyes, 'You make a right you stupid man'I told you did I not? From now on there is no us in talking to her'she can't say anything back. She got sick when she was little, and her family was to poor to fix her. So now shut up and drive'
Rani looked down at her hands clutching the laddoo.
'We will not be poor anymore' Rani thought in her head 'I will go to the Palace, get my education then a job, and we will NOT be poor anymore. I promise you daddy, I will make you proud, and even my inability to talk won't hinder that. Vaada.'

Okay so I suppose I can give a quick one sentence recap of part one

Rani is goongi (can't talk) due to a childhood fever, and Munshee lied to her about going to attend the Palace University.


Prince Yudishtar Sishodya was breathing hard. His chest was heaving and sweat dripped down his hard belly; he grabbed for a towel and wiped at his strong biceps and neck. He had just finished taming his new horse, he names her "Sunset" because she was feisty like the hot sun, yet calm like the setting sun when need be. He loved his horses, when he was out in the fresh air with his horses, he felt free. Free from the duties of the palace, free from the traditions that always seemed to hold him down, free from suffocation he felt. He knew he had responsibilities, he would never forget. He had a duty, but he felt empty inside. He seemed to have lost a sense of self, he did things to please his father, he only talked when spoken to, he obeys the words of his elders, and amidst all this Yudi couldn't remember who he was.
Yudi sighed. Life was like a second hand, ticking off to his father the hour hand and his mother the minute hand, there was nothing new in his life, nothing exciting.
Yudi shook these thoughts from his head, he was a Kunwar, he couldn't be thinking about such petty things.
"Saksham?" Yudi scanned the yard for his friend.
"Kunwar Jee!" Saksham came abruptly from behind and smiled,
"How was your ride Kunwar Jee?"
"Oh, it was exhilarating, I loved it. You know Saksham, it feels like your flying when you ride a horse. I love the to feel the wind on my face, and hear the hooves hit the ground. I forget all my qualms. Its peaceful"
"Kunwar jee, I'm telling you, you need a change in your daily routines"
"Yaar, who has time? I have duties, responsibilities, and I can't anger father with my stupid desires. Anyway, I must go inside and freshen up. Dinner is in an hour, and I don't want to anger anyone by being late"
Saksham watched him walk away. He was such a strong man, such a devoted man, but, Saksham thought; he was such a lonely man.

Rani couldn't believe it. The palace was bigger then two villages! It was magical! She felt like she needed to pinch herself, my god. If only mama, and munna and dadi were here, she thought to herself…they would be amazed. Munshee Jee tapped her shoulder and she jumped.
Rani turned to look at him, she quickly put her hand to her mouth and enlarged her eyes and pointed to the castle, indicating how amazed to was to see the Palace. She quickly pulled out her pocket book from her little pouch which she attaches to her duppatta and wrote :"Omg, Munshee Jee, this is so amazing, I can't wait to learn here and work here! Thank You! I want to make papa proud and Mama, and Munna and Dadi!"
Munshee Jee snatched the paper from her hands, and read. He looked up at Rani and smiled mischievously "Oh yes dear" He said "You will work here" Rani smiled at him, to innocent to hear the sarcasm in his voice and see the evil in his eyes.
"Come let us go inside my dear" Munshee grabbed his luggage, and Rani picked up her small suitcase, they made it up the front steps. The door was so beautiful, it was so wonderfully designed. It was probably bigger then her house. She smiled. What a door! She thought to herself.
Munshee looked at her- Keep smiling for now child, but when you see what fate has in store for you, that smile will be off your face, but I will not care, I am receiving a huge some of money for my efforts.

"FASTER!" Bhanumati yelled at the servants as they were setting up the dining hall for dinner.
"Stupid people, dinner is in an hour, FASER LUFANGO!" Bhanu was irritated, she decided to go outside and take a breath of fresh air.
"Bua…can I come?" Kali asked as she followed Bhanu
"Uff….you are so annoying, fine, come! I just need a breath of air before I deal with these idiots again!"
Kali and Bhanu headed out, they walked over to the door, right when Rani and Munshee Jee walked inside. "Who is that Bua?" Asked Kali
Bhanu knew that was Munshee, she looked to the girl on his right. Damn, she thought, that girl was so sweet and simple looking, she knew Munshee Jee brought her in to become one of the servents, because Bhanu had asked him to bring her someone because one of the servants ran away with her lover, but the girl looked to pretty. Her skin was fair and smooth looking, her thick black hair was neatly tied with a small blue ribbon, her big brown eyes were the epitome of innocence and she looked fragile, she almost resembled a beautiful doll. Bhanumati was angry again.
"Oh, Bhanu, you are here, look what I have brought you!" Munshee pushed Rani forward. Bhanumati's eyes inspected her from top to bottom. What a strict teacher she must be, Rani thought to herself. She is looking at me with so much anger, she said in her head. Rani stood up a little straighter.
"What's your name girl?"
Rani looked over to Munshee Jee, did he not tell her that she is unable to speak?
"There is something I must tell you Bhanu…."
"What?"
"She is goongi, she can't speak."
"WHAT!" Bhanu smiled. Perfect. She was beautiful, but she was a damn goongi. She smiled.
Rani looked to the floor. Bhanumati didn't seem like such a nice teacher, and Rani also didn't understand why Munshee Jee didn't tell Bhanu about her inability to talk. She accusingly looked at Munshee Jee…
"Oh, don't look at me like that girl, there is one more thing you must know….." Munshee started to tell her, when a servant came running out….
"Bhanumati jee, Phoolkumari burned the rice!"
"God, stupid stupid stupid. I will punish her, but for know, we need to get rice, the store room is on the other side of the castle. All the servants are busy now….what should I do" Bhanu looked at Rani….
"Hey, you…go get the damn rice girl"
Rani sent Munshee Jee a question glance, and looked up at Bhanumati with anger in her eyes.
"Oh, don't look at me like that stupid girl, you are here to be a servent anyway, you might as well just start your work now….the room is strait down, to your left down this hallway…"
Rani's world stopped.
Was she loosing her hearing to? Did she just hear Bhanumati say she is here to be a servent? Rani slowly turned around to look at Munshee…
"Hey Kali go grab the envelope that say's Munshee on it, I have to pay him for bringing me this girl, but take a little out. She can't talk, so Munshee deserves a little less" Bhanu ordered Kali.
Rani felt like the ground was opening up under her feel. She was feeling light headed. Her heart was breaking. She didn't know what to do. Her trust was shattered. She was being sold. One tear rolled down her right eye, but then slowly, more started to fall. She stood there, holding on to her mothers laddoo and let her tears fall, each tear felt like fire, and she saw all her dreams go into flames.
She saw Munshee Jee take the envelope, "Well, girl, you are on your own know," Munshee jee walked out.
Rani was numb. She was frozen. When she realized that Munshee was out the door, she started to run after him, only to have Bhanumati grab her arm and jerk her to the floor.
"Where the hell do you think your going girl! Go get the damn rice!"
Rani slowly got up. "I will show you to your room later, you can freshen up after you get the rice, HURRY UP, dinner is in less than an hour.
Rani felt like a ghost, she started walking towards the room, her legs were moving, but her mind was blank, she was breathing but she wasn't alive. She went down the hall, she made a right, not realizing that she was suppose to make a left. She stood in front of the door, and her mind finally understood what had just happened to her.
Rani was now a servant girl, Munshee Jee didn't bring her to a school, she was sold. The world went black, Rani felt herself faint.
Then nothing.

Yudi had just opened the door, and he cached the girl right before she hit the ground.
What the heck, he thought to himself, why was there a girl fainting at his doorstep. He looked down at her face.
The world seemed to stop for him………

poor rani one she cannot talk and other that cheater munshi cheated her and now this bhanu 😡 😡
i loved the way you wrote about second hand , hour hand and minute hand that was awsome dear.

oh poor yudi he is so lonely but i think now he won't be 😳 as rani's memory and love will feel that emptyness 😳
