They got 2019 national film awards, both of them but Andhadhun and other nominated movies and actors got for 2018 released movies while Uri was released in 2019 and still got award in the same year when technically it should have been nominated along with 2019 movies in the next year's national film awards. Or may be they did that as Uri was released in early Jan so they counted it in 2018 movies. It is tricky 😆

i think it when is it censored is what counts and it was censored in 2018

because censorship means cleared for release/screening, I dont think release matters because some films especially smaller ones may not be able to find theaters etc

Ajay's first two awards were well derserved, both zakhm and bhagat singh are good movies but this one is quota award like kangana for manikarnika

only thing is this govt (whatever ones politics may be) is doing a fairly good job of awards, they put in the deserving ones and add some quota and balance art and commerce well

defintely most are well deserved like ayappnum koshiyum, suriya is also good, avpl music also is a good choice
