I sometimes think Anupamaa needs therapy. Her constant need to ingratiate herself to Baa and Shah house members and their whims is bewildering. I don’t know what writer are trying to show, whether to call it Stockholm Syndrome or some form of PTSD that is manifesting in the form of Anupama’s people( Shah family) pleasing ways after years of being demeaned by them and it is specific to Shah household because Anupama does deny or ignore Anuj’s request and feelings, who has only shown her love and support.

Because it happens irl... I think some show had shown that in itv... yhm I think... I don't remember... many shows when they introduce kids start with good concepts but then the trp makes them suddenly over dramatic and it's highly difficult to sympathize with the kid or the story... even yrkkh another RS show in the original season explored early miscarriage, child disappearance, good touch, bad touch, teaching your kids your phone number etc etc... a lot of social messages with drama... I loved the kids track honestly... I think it came 4 or 5 years after the leads got married... and it was realistic to an extent but again towards the end they spoilt that too... my favorite kid show was 'aapki antara' the first season brilliantly portrayed the struggles of an autistic kid and the family but then again they caved in to drama...

Just that they can do a lot with kids but they simply cave in to drama and make it bad...

That is because her 3 kids are shahs

If no kids with vanraj would she behave like this with Shahs and misbehave or ignore mukku and anuj kapadia nooo

Shahs know how to use her 3 kids to emotionally blackmail and tie her to vanraj shah and that house

bapuji uses beti and vanraj shahs is bachon ka pita tag

Baa said "bhagwan iss ladki ko hamesha khush rakhe" and she is literally behaving so badly and ruthlessly with Anu. Also her nara of hamare ghar na aye na rahe i mean woh bungalow ke malik ki beti hai, usko kaunsa pagal banna hai jo Shah's ke ghar rahegi?

I'm sure when Anu grows up she's going to smack the door on Anupamaa's face and say, "maine galat mata ko chunn liya tha jiske wajah se main bhi pagal hone ko jaa rahi hun"😆
