while zainab is more low key and calculates when it is okay to fight back, she also lets it rip when the occasion calls for it. while she will not argue with naima in front of others, she did question naima when she was not allow a driver. so zainab picks her battles.

2. something that ushna learned from both farooq and zainab is self-respect and being content. so farooq fell financially but still this was a happy family. while they would not beg for money, they kept themselves content in the budget they had. neither zainab or farooq would lower themselves in the mukthar house and preferred to meet their own needs. farooq was willing to take a smaller paying job as a driver to meet their needs and didn't see it as less and become unhappy. so unless desperate, they are pretty self-reliant as well as practical.

so these are traits that ushna has picked up herself which means she isn't the majboor bechari type female lead that will cry tears and look like an idiot. she has a tolerance level for certain amount of badmash because she loves shehroze but if she feels the level is crossed, she will not hesitate to walk out. she can survive on her own because she has the confidence to do so and she won't have pity party about it.

I want a season 2 with Furqan being alive. And a proper love hate story of Ushna and Shehroz with same characters ( old wali Naima, wahab,zainab )- barring mukhtar family. I wanted to see more of Furqan to be honest.

zainab and ushna were chosen to be part of the family because the assumption was they would be subserviant. what naima didn't realize is that neither of these women are pushovers, they are just polite. there is a huge difference. this means that any time, these women can stand up for themselves and hence, naima starts to see them as a threat to her power structure. so to put them down, she even elevates the servants. the reason I would argue that the servants are above wahab is that servants take orders only from naima. so the driver can't even take the second wife out and wahab does not know. even if he did know, he would have no say that zainab can take the car. so does he have any power to make calls in his own house?

and as for shehroze yelling, again, because it is a top down power, he and naima sort of think they have done ushna a favour. whereas in her head, she sees herself as wife of shehroze and therefore an equal in the house. so we are seeing power clashes and lack of understanding. shehroze is thinking he got some typical bechari biwi who will kiss his feet for giving her life. that isn't ushna. she may be adopted but she isn't going to give up her self-respect as gratitude.

Shehroze yells at anyone and everyone. His yelling has nothing to do with him thinking he did any favour on ushna. He thinks his mother sacrificed her believes for him. He don't think he did any favour. Out of everyone if there is one person that thinks ushna is not a bechari then it's shehroze. He wants her to listen to him and respect him like any wife does and love him unconditionally. He is demanding and possessive and when he don't get that he acts out. If shehroze thought ushna is below him and he did a favour on her he would never try to make up when they fight. He made up on his own even when he strongly believes he is right and she is wrong.

He is insecure about his place in ushna's life. Every after everything the fact that ushna even talks to sufi creepy is unbearable to him.

Also when it comes to Naima there is literally nothing he can find wrong. It's not even like Naima makes up stories. She just exaggerate what ushna already did. He himself saw the way ushna talked to naagin and naagin didn't even manipulated that situation. She also thought shehroze was not there. She was lucky that shehroze only hear ushna talking and not her. Neither wahab or shehroze can even think there is any sort of evilness in that woman and they also have reasons to believe that. Unlike zainab and ushna thinking muktar people are suddenly their well wishers and let them talk shit about wahab house.

Shehroze thinking the worst of ushna is not very convincing considering he didn't get slightly affected by sadaf badmouthing ushna twice or him knowingly getting married to a girl that showed more interest in another guy but trusted her when she said she had nothing to do with creepy. If they wanted to show shehroze doubting ushna they should have given a more solid reason.

I dont know but i have a sheer dislike for mukhtar family even over Naima 🤢 i cant stand them at any cost. I know, they alll will be whitewashed

kekeke.. I watch too many dramas to be honest and so only some details pop out when we are conversing. 😆 otherwise, I would have forgotten them.

I don't remember too much of farooq but my impression was that zainab and him had a more equal type marriage. meaning she wasn't some majboori under him where she didn't have a voice. so zainab was loved, had freedom to do as she pleases and also had a voice as well as respect -- that was my impression.

since most of us get our ideas about marriage and love from observations in our household, it is easy to see why ushna and shehroze are fighting. she is using her own parents marriage as a barometer which means she thinks she has the right to speak up, the right to the house and the right to make decisions.

so rather than power, he is insecure over his love because he is not quite convinced that she loves him with the same fervour. so it makes him feel weak and scared because he can't quite read her. he does not think his feelings are returned or that she chose him. instead, he feels like she accepted the marriage and that isn't romantic enough for him....

I am the opposite. I can't stand naima and I often end up forwarding her scenes. it creeps me out. the mukthar house have gone from irritating to me laughing at their scenes. I find all their oneliners hilarious. 😆

I had watched this video by Muniba mazari way back where she describes three kind of people in your life and whenever i watch mukhtar family, it completely reminds of this video as perfectly suiting second category of people 🤣

I think he does not know or is aware that naima manipulates at all. she has never revealed that side to him or wahab in all the years. she just quietly did the manipulation but did not tell them about how she went about it. this isn't mehnaz or raeesa who want to boast about their successful games and reveal how they are going to manipulate. so both of the men are not able to process when zainab and ushna are telling how naima operates.

I do agree that if ushna and shehroze get seperated ushna is fully capable of leading a life without shehroze. Happy or not is another topic but she will go on with her life for sure. On the other hand shehroze won't be able to do it. He is emotionally much more vulnerable and weak.

But we know there is not enough time to make shehroze sob around for his immaturity and anger issues. Ushna will forgive him pretty easily and even though she don't express as much as shehroze she also loves him unconditionally. There isn't any scenes to prove that and i am assuming this simply because it's a love story and she is the FL. Also i don't think ushna will give a blind eye to shehroze after naagin's truth comes out. It is something thats gonna hit hard on shehroze. She will surely be there for him.
