I'm pretty sure both of them were wearing salwar suits at the beginning of their careers because it helped with their debuts. You know, passing on the image that they're "sweet and humble with middle class values" despite their rich upbringings. The traditional clothes were thrown out pretty quickly for glamour roles and thirst traps for their instagrams😆

It's the timing (After KJo-Kartik fiasco) KJo mentioned and the reaction of Sara that gave away that "someone" was Kartik.

Of course the sanskari girl image was a PR move, but KJo is trying to put the blame on Kartik, and the beggar girls couldn't choose right or wrong.

Quote of the whole episode when Jahnvi couldn't name more than 2 Sridevi films and said to herself "she did 350 films for this moment?!" It's these throwaway remarks that make JK a little more real

This! I’m sorry I’m not buying this crap that Kartik made her wear salwar kameez and she blindly followed. She did it because her PR told her this is what would sell after Sridevi’s death and she was desperate to break into Bollywood. Classic KJo trying to indirectly shift the blame on Kartik.
