I think most North indian people get influenced with Ayesha Singh character "Sai" name pronunciation in ghum show which is more famous. In the show all characters pronounce her name as सई. Our boy name spelling is also same "Sai" but his pronounciation is साई

Ah! सई is a common name for Maharashtrian girls. I thought साई is a more popular/ known name in the north
