The show is lagging a bit now. But there was still much to ponder about.

As a contrast they delineate the life of Cookie's aunt who is a single woman who hasn't married by choice. The loneliness, economic hardship and tribulations she goes through were very poignantly depicted.

As expected Cookie had gone there while she was missing. But why? The question remains.

The show had a nice parallel with Cookie revealing to her niece what had happened to her-that she had gone on to spend time with her own aunt who was living in seclusion away from her family. Aunts and nieces seem to have a lovely bond here which is seldom seen in dramas.

However the pace of the show is suffering and they need to throw some crumbs at the audience as to where it's all going plot wise.

Oh and the evil bhabhi suggests that Cookie is behaving strangely because someone did black magic on her🤣 And Cookie's mom also agreed 😆 I guess everyone will accuse the poor Khala for Cookie's inexplicable actions.

Yes, the hubby is fixated on the affair being a reason and the relatives, including the kids are also coming around to that conclusion. But I think the struggle is more because of Cookie feeling bereft on account on the loss of her identity.

Although last week it was dragged and wasn't so enjoyable, I enjoyed yesterday's episode. They have highlighted so many issues.

Almost everyone is blaming Kuki even her sister. All are quick to jump to conclusion that Kuki is the one having affair. Kuki's sister tolerates her husband's torture and now wants her sister to be just like her and tolerate everything. Kuki's sister is afraid as now all her in-laws will taunt her about Kuki's affair. It shows that women bear all the torture so that she is good in society's eyes. Society is more important than women's self-respect.

They also highlighted parents shouldn't force their children to marry someone else. If Adnan's parents weren't in hurry to marry Adnan, maybe things that are happening now wouldn't have happened.

Kuki is not well educated and also she has no job. In the next episode, Kuki seems to realize that she is nothing without her husband and everyone was respecting her just because she was Adnan's wife. A very good lesson that women should be independent.

I really liked that they showed almost everyone is blaming and suspecting kooki but the father in law acknowledges that the fault might be with his own son instead of kooki.

The husband denied that there is no affair and he is not in contact with the ex, he seemed too believable. 🤷‍♀️
