With the first Mumbai press meet conducted in May itself, there was lot of online & offline buzz created for this years KKK and some contestants are hugely popular too, so wasn't surprising when Colors rushed to launch it even before the shoot concludes, rather than waiting till Aug.😊 As a channel they aren't doing great for long time on paid TV viewership, outreach plus BARC ratings too. 
As I said in one of my earlier posts its not confined to TRPs alone, most GEC's are currently struggling in sustaining their monthly paid TV viewership. Its huge monthly revenues in crores that millions of paid TV subscribers bring to GECs apart from advertising revenues, which in the recent years dented revenues of Zee, Sony, Colors etc.😔 while Star group mainly because of Star sports, Star movies & SP seems to be fairing far better also due to its increased distribution network.
With KKK, guessing Colors is aiming to add more paid TV subscribers right from Jul month which they may want to continue upto Sep & then they may be ready to launch Jhalak and Bigboss to sustain paid TV viewers till year end. 
btw when it comes to online not just on voot and Jio app, have noticed people saying on Airtel and Vi app also KKK12 is prominently promoted and episode links are available online on these mobile apps for viewing in India. It indicates Colors & Endemol are spending huge budgets also in marketing & promotions and not just in creating content for episodes.
