have said it earlier but she was following societal norms in a way by hedging. she said that the matter of her marriage will be left to zainab but kept adding a caveat - she didn't think zainab would agree and he is going to be dissapointed. so she was giving him a heads up that it was a pipe dream. she was also telling him that it will never be love and it is just arranged as matter as she is concerned.
there were also other times when she was firm and told him that she is not looking at marriage and scoffed at love without respect. the problem with both zainab and ushna is that they don't see sufiyan as a snake and therefore, milder/muted in their rejection response.
But she was very clear with Shehroz, so she knows how to be formal. She gave Romeo hope and culture or not she did egg him on. Had she said okay if mum says yes then good otherwise we will just be relatives. That would mean Romeo is doing everything one sided. With Shehroz she was clear on no to marriage but with Romeo there was always this softness.

She is not a child fighting for attention 😂😂 but yes both are extremely bad attention seekers and it needs to be tone down. It looks cute for a while but now it’s toxic and annoying.
