Q1. now ushna is a young woman and is she even aware that she was sending mixed messages? did she just think she was hanging out with a relative but he took it far more seriously? after all, is it wrong to hang out with a relative when you are all living under the same roof?

I agree that ushna is young to handle a marriage without doing any mistake or get easily attracted to guys that gives her attention or fall in love easily but she isn't young enough not to be aware about the difference between stalking and casual meeting or continue to speak casually with a guy that never misses a chance to say how much he loves her and cares for her even after her rejecting him and her being married. She also clearly knows the fact that her husband hates that guy.

That would be believable if Romeo had hidden his intentions but he was very clear. If she wasn’t and she said no once but after that she still continued on. He was always very clear and rather than keeping boundaries she gave very mixed messages. Sitting in that car and listening to him, turning hot and cold with him, never being strict saying no to marriage and talking formally as cousins as she knows he has different intentions.

see I think it is very complicated especially when it comes to romantic attention from relatives. in much of the local regional content here, the girl will try and do something like ushna. play it safe by being polite and chat like normal. she doesn't necessarily respond back and keeps it formal.

have said it earlier but she was following societal norms in a way by hedging. she said that the matter of her marriage will be left to zainab but kept adding a caveat - she didn't think zainab would agree and he is going to be dissapointed. so she was giving him a heads up that it was a pipe dream. she was also telling him that it will never be love and it is just arranged as matter as she is concerned.

there were also other times when she was firm and told him that she is not looking at marriage and scoffed at love without respect. the problem with both zainab and ushna is that they don't see sufiyan as a snake and therefore, milder/muted in their rejection response.

Is there any other reason Ushna cannot see the obvious thing? She can see through Naima's plotting and wouldn't think twice showing her the mirror. It's not possible she cannot see the pious intention of sasta Romeo when he is clearly trying to poke his dirty nostril in her married life and once upon a time he used to sit outside her gate without taking bath for months just to stop her wedding at any cost. It means the creative team is working hard to make this sasta aashiq as a successful villian. If there was any other actor playing this role, he would have received chappal on face, not just slap.. Getting work through connection is one thing, but interference in script is like taking nepotism to another level.

I'm bit sad because after long time I was shipping for any couple 😆 but producer is doing ungli to fit his relative has made me frustrated. 😆 but anyways I am still rooting for season 2 minus Sufi creepy. I can tolerate Naima as well..
