Although I understand the intentions behind divorce papers , I don't quite understand the depth of it. It's his parents divorce that caused so much misery to him and his father . And if he repeats the same mistake , what did he learn from it ? Infact he should have married very carefully keeping in mind that he will have to keep the sanctity of marriage intact . Initially I thought he will offer her a contract marriage , in that case divorce papers were valid . But before his first night , I felt that he wants a normal married life ... Something doesn't add up.

Obviously they will fall in love , but like u said if he is suffering from depression and he is on medication , there might be complications too..like he may be non committed..which again leads to the past repeating itself.

I think he won't consumate , so that he won't have children.. this is how he can be sure the past won't be repeating itself , and no children of his own may suffer like he did.🤓

He won't be able to give her her rights as a wife, he knows it, so him offering her divorce pprs is to give her the right to go if she isn't happy with this marriage. He is a sensitive man, he doesn't want to hurt her.

But wont she be unhappy..broken just like his father was when his mother left him ?

Yeah he is sensitive but isn't he is causing as much pain to her and he is , to himself. He married her bec he had a selfish motive..she has the freedom to leave whenever she wants to, that's not how marriages and relationships work. She will still be scarred ..if he continues to be in this relationship bec she wants to and he doesn't, it's still the same😕 for a girl to remarry is still a stigma ..no matter how much money he offers , her life will change.

There's no love from both sides , so why should she be unhappy. He told her his reasons. She had a choice to reject him, but she didn't. Maybe he thought she agreed because he will solve her family's financial matters.. and she'll have a secured life with him.😳

You didn't get me. Divorce and separation is traumatic for the couple .and he will be putting her through this trauma ..whether she loves him or not , marriage means something .. And specially one like this , in which theycame together as a temporary arrangement . So I expected him to understand her , try to work it out rather than handing over the divorce papers so soon ...he will be setting the example of a failed marriage ..what's he diff between his mom and him? If he thinks one of spouses can walk out anytime they wish to if they r unhappy , that's what his mom did , that's what he despise..... Or may be I will get more clarity with the upcoming epi 😆

I was trying to put myself in his place. He doesn't believe in marriage or relationships. He doesn't trust women. He maybe thinks that by telling his fiancee the truth they shouldn't work on their marriage. It is like a contract. I get you .. he should've realized that he is following his mother's steps. But this is what almost all of us do.. unknowingly we are a replica of our parents.🤓
