Kanha ends up putting a lot of ghee and Sayuri manages it by switching half to another roti. He reminds her that she needs to contribution half for Priya. Sayuri says she will but in instalments. Kanha teases her about interest and Sayuri narrows her eyes at him asking if he will take interest from her. Kanha says if not that shall he show interest at her. Sayuri says she will beat him with the tongs. Kanha says he will too. But Sayuri tells him he won't do so and will not let anyone do so either. Kanha agrees and nearly blurts out that he loves her. Things get awkward. Nakul comes and interrupts. Kanha leaves.
He sets plates and declares that he needs a lock on his mouth. Saroj wonders where Kanha is and now Nakul has disappeared too.
Sayuri watches from afar Kanha laughing with her family. Kanha sees her and in her hurry to leave she collides with a pillar. Kanha hurries after her with ice and puts it on her swelling. She backs slowly and he moves forward till her back hits thr table. They grow conscious and she leaves.

They have a small pillow fight and finally Sayuri drags Kanha close holding his collar. He keeps looking at her and they have a moment. She tries to go away and again her hairs coil around his button. This time she feels the intimacy and quickly runs away. Kanha stays there looking lost.
The Sharmas have food happily with Kanha and Nakul. Everyone is smiling and laughing. Saroj sees it from the mirror and is deeply unhappy. She starts making all of Kanha's favourite foods.
Indrani gets emotional and rushes inside. Sayuri follows. Indrani reminisces about Balwant and tells Sayuri that Kanha's presence kind of completes the gap that Balwant left in their lives. She tells Sayuri to respect what she has got. Rarely people get second chances and Sayuri has got a beautiful one. Not all can manage all problems like Kanha. They are already friends and Sayuri shouldn't stop herself if she falls in love with him. Sayuri feels stunned.

Later they leave the Sharmas place. Kanha is groaning. He had ended up eating too much and fills fit to burst. He is sure he will burst. Sayuri isn't paying him attention. She is more concentrate with what Her mother said. Kanha finally stops her and asks what is wrong. She keeps on muttering that it isn't possible, why did her mother have to say it. Kanha nods and says it's ok. He had imaginary friends too when he was a kid. She can have such friends too, whom no one else can see. He is ok with it. And she is all right. It's acceptable.
Sayuri huffs and leaves. But her pallu is stuck on his band and he gets pulled in with her. He calls her repeatedly to stop her but Sayuri doesn't pay heed and reach inside the house where Saroj sees it. She rebukes both.
Kanha doesn't want to hurt his mother and ends up sitting to eat. He is slowly painstakingly eating. Sayuri stares at him concerned. Saroj realizes and stops him from eating. After all he had his fill in his in-laws place. Dhanraj supports Kanha reminding hiw much he used to like eating in her home. But Saroj says, she didn't take him away from his family. Kanha tells Saroj that he isn't away from her. She turns to go away and he holds her pallu.
Softly he pleads with his mother. She tells him he doesn't need her chadar. He has his wife's pallu now. Saying so she forcefully wrenched put her saree from his grasp. He didn't want to leave, but she pulls it out forcefully.
Kanha looks Mournfully at his empty fingers and then turns to look at Sayuri.
