I may cringe at them but I love them too😝My 5 favorite cliched scenes in ITv love stories:-

1) Eye locks

2) Trip, fall, catch scene

3) they get drained in rain and he oogles at her wet hairs

4) He saves her from goons and then their First hug

5) Duppata/earring/bangles get stuck in hero's clothes.

I would not mind a more modified version of these tropes so they are less cringe worthy when we watch them, sometimes the overdose of cringness spoils every thing and makes you roll your eyes even if the couple is breathtakingly stunning like Ginni and Adi are, as we all know.

Anyway my cringe worthy modified trope will be an eyelock for the beginning with a mix feeling of hatred, anger and a soft spot deep down.

P.S. there's no word such as cringness😆

Like I said overdose of everything always gets on nerves if not right away but it does. I was a big fan of a show and lead couple too was hugely popular won awards and yet I quit watching, know why ?? Overdose of cringness.

Maybe you learned to live with cringness!!! 😉But I cannot and yeah not mention almost exactly like you I didn't move on from that couple too but then out of sight is out of mind especially when you quit the show before it ends.

Nevertheless I admire your loyalty and optimism👏

The acting and chem was so good that i ignored cringeness sometimes😆. It helped me to quit indian tv altogether.

I came back for this coz I saw flicker of chem in promo. Let's see how long I can stick here

As far as clichéd actions go, I think I enjoy them all if done tastefully.

ITV, however, has the tendency to make it cringe worthy. I skip over if it's too gross!!

Enemies to lovers is my fave trope in books as well as shows.

If there is bearable story, good actors and leads chem i can tolerate little bit of cringe.

Enemies to lover trope I like that too.
