If you see closely then this family is quite dysfunctional but everything is in comedy format which is why humme kam dikh raha hai. Through the characters you will see ye log kitne real hai and not like white comical characters.

Exactly. Yahi kehna chahta hoon mai. Jaisa promo mein dikh raha thaa waisa nahi hai. All characters are layered here. Gunjan ke dialogues are amazing.
