So if you watch closely, when Ak came to event and waved to Parth and realized Abhi was not there, she gulped too. But Pranali is so tiny you can’t see the movement unless the camera is close to her.

So this gulping/ swallowing because your mouth goes dry is something the director is asking both of the actors to do. It’s just it’s more pronounced in Abhi and very subtle in Akshara.
