they are known to have pretty cool tailored blouses and very different designs. I randomly found some design videos on youtube on them.

even in terms of sari, there are different ways to tie it and the length actually varies. so the modern version with its 6 meter and the way of tying only came up in the last 150 years or so. if you see maharashtra, gujarat, there are different ways of tieng. in some communities, the sari is not 6 meters but 9 meters. in assam, it is a two piece garment (known as mekhela) and the weaves are very different.

the modern version of sari design weave (pallu, zari & border) is often attributed to rukmini devi (known as kalakshetra sari) -- she pioneered the reivival of arts, dance and handlooms.

I think those were promotional shots.

In the drama sajal's character herself didn't consider her to be his wife. So there is no way she will say i will do this or that because I am your wife.

Also that choota khana scene was so cringey.

I have noticed that older pak dramas used to be more lenient towards female actor's dressing than recent ones. The 2nd Fl wore bolder clothes than modern rich girls in today's pak dramas would wear.

After I got to know of Turkish dramas,I stopped watching Pak dramas for long.😆. it's usama that brought me back to PTV...

The downside of Turkish dramas is that subs are difficult to find. And the mvs made on them are more entertaining to watch

In this COVID era it's even more eww though😆..I am stuck at button stitching scene..the direction was good..even shereyar could pull of a romantic gaze..was surprised..lol

I think more than getting subs it's the length that's the downside. I really liked pyaar lafzom mein kaha at the beginning but it got dragged so much that I lost interest after the leads got married.

The only turkish drama with 30+ episodes i finished watching was guneshin kizlari. Then i finished watching love 101 S1 and midnight at pera hotel, both of which are Netflix originals with just 6-7 epidodes.

Shereyar used to be such a bad actor that I wonder how he got so many lead roles. I guess now he is bearable.

But those did look good together. Is there any young actor with whom sajal don't look good with.

yea I remember my aunt watching those old PK dramas back. many had short hair. now, all of them have that sanskari type long hair look.

Even I left it in between.. It was my first Turkish drama.. the fl was very bad in acting..

My all tym favourite remains kiralik ask( love for rent)which I completed..

it's been years but the ml never did any good show afterwards..

I actually liked Shehryaar and Ayeza in kahi unkahi. They were cute 😆
