“Khushi, I saw Arnav going to Aman’s room” payal asked when Khushi was finally alone after her relatives started to depart

“oh is it. I was searching where did he disappear suddenly”

“he looked too angry”

“Is it. You know, even I observed. He did not even smile an inch seeing Aman. Something is fishy. God knows.”

“akka, theek hai na?” Khushi asked payal..

“haan don’t worry, I checked and came. She said she will come here in some time”

“let she take rest..There are so many men out here. . I had told Aman, we will have just minimal guest..just hardly countable. But he has called so many”

“hmm. But most of them are leaving.”

“haan. Iam waiting for Arnav.,

“He wanted to meet me. I think I did not make an effort to meet him. Mai bhi kya karu, amma ko dekha na, mere 5 ft distance ar hi ghum rahi thi, aur wiase muje pata nahi, iam so scared..like whenever we have met like this, we have just fought..so I thought I have to ignore till these relatives disappear…

“shall I go to Aman room to check. “

“Wait till he comes!!”

“Arnav….…..come in Man, the Door is opened” aman said as he heard the knock on the door.

“Enjoying the function arnie?..but you look so disappointed, upset…why buddy?” Aman moked him, as the former was reapplying the perfume…

Arnav came in and shut the door beside him…

“what is going on Aman” arnav asked straight to his face..

“Engagement function”

”You know what iam asking above”

“No, I don’t . Seriously”

“Lets be honest . You knew about me and Khushi. Right? Why this superficial acting?”

Aman was silent.and then smiling. ‘ah..is it? You knew Khushi before? ”

“Shut up Aman. Come to the point. Why you have been doing all this acting? ”

Aman walked towards him. Eyes staring at him.

“hmm… If this the way you like, then just anser to the point- aman paused , looked at Arnav closely and whispered “Did u sleep with My Khushi?”

“What the hell!..” Arnav shouted , he almost went to pull his collar. But controlled. “She is not yours. Mind It” Arnav shouted, pointing his finger towards him.

Aman gave a hearty laugh..

“not mine?did you forgot, we just exchanged the rings…..may be just 1 hr before”

Aman could see frustration , and the way Arnav was fuming

“You know buddy, iam so enjoying this moment”

Arnav looked at his weird mocking behaviour, he rarely could get any clue on his thinking.

“Why aman?” Arnav asked reducing his voice bit.

Aman encircled him, facing his back and replied back.

“Because I wanted to see you pleading this way, I wanted to see you begging to know…what it to means to lose…… why it so happens everytime that whichever the girl I prefer from college, would want to actually get in with you.. why? Am I not smart?, not handsome? Infact more better than you. Why then?No charm? Cant attract women? And what is that you have been so proud off? What is that you have to be show this off your attitude. Yes yes, I know everything between you and Khushi. I know you are always with facts, but don’t think even the world is dumb, even I can get the proofs……whereall you have spent the night….

Arnav was about to say something when Aman continued stopping him- You know the day I went to see Khushi, I was enchanted with her beauty. It was love at first sight sort. But when I entered her room, I happen to see you again everywhere. The way she described about being your fan, about your personality, charm…it burnt my heart. I decided that day, she would be my destiny. Not yours not of anyone else. But just MINE...But you know universe is so unaffair to me. She had just see you in screens, was it not sufficient?. She happens to meet you… And that day Khushi became my aggression, passion and …”Aman Paused and continued” And I will have her at any cost”

“Impressive state of aggression towards me. And I thought you are my friend” Arnav responded

Aman turned away his face

“Is this all because you had problem with my attitude? You had problem because I talked on the face, ? you had problem because women crazily loved me? How idiotic it is for someone to calculate all these even after so many years”

“Because wounds and scars remain forever beneath the skin Arnav”

“You know what Aman. I don’t want to give any explanation for all whatever the reason you mentioned from the age of teens. I would just say Grow up. and yes…I have spent many nights with Khushi, under many different circumstances which you are definitely not worthy to know….. And yes… Iam still the same..Jo Chahiye..Wo Chahiye Bas… and you off course know about my aggression and passion …and saying that,. Go back to your family , back off your engagement in most gentleman way taking blame on yourself. Don’t you dare touch Khushi again.

Aman gave a hearty laugh suddenly.

“You know, This is the attitude, your over confidence which I hated to the core. But Arnav, Iam not the same Aman, with whom you can show your stance……Stop giving the dialogue you are playing with fire and all.”

“I was fire in teens…iam now a Volcano Aman”

“Then you are playing with An ice berg which could just break the volcano…..silent and steady..” It will be fun to watch Arnav in pain.

Arnav smiled, which irritated Aman. “You know what, you are still the same Aman who don’t even understand that an ice would just melt and turn to steam just finding its way to escape…. The Escape from the heat”

It agitated Aman more.

“ah. You know what I was about to disclose about you to everyone. That how you have been cheating on her, how you been slepepping with different women…. ..but I didnot !. I wanted to first have talk with my good old friend. But this turned out to be something more different…You Aman, WAIT and WATch”

“I cant believe arnav, you are still not considering me seriously. Iam sure You Khushi, otherwise you would have not standing here.. Iam sure yes, I can see in your eyes.The burning desire. The pain , the disappointment….But You know what , if you dare to tell something to Khushi, I would go out there and tell about sheetal. How she was sold by her husband, how she was raped, drugged, god knows where she was….will gupta family can handle all that?” aman smiled and continued..”khsuhi would be broken into piece seeing everyone talking , hurting mocking her sister. Clearly you would not like to see her that way….! Sheetal is already gone case…How pictures of you and Khushi….. Sleeping with the actor?..spending nights with him…..By the way, you haven’t said me still………..have you really not slept with her? God dammed would I be f**king a virgin girl?. How fun it would be”

“HOW DARE YOU AMAN” Arnav fuming, pulled out aman’s collar, pressing around his cheek with one hand, and neck , making him difficult to breathe.

As he pressed harder and harder, door suddenly opens.

Khushi comes in running. “Mr Raijyada , what are you doing?” Aman coughs and takes a deep breaths as Arnav loosened his grip.

“what wrong with you Mr Raijyada, and whats going on in here”

“You are such a dumb blind girl. Don’t even see whats happening near you, with whom you would be spending your life”

Khushi was silent suddenly. Confused. She looked towards Aman and then Arnav.

“This person whom you were going to marry, is one such poisonous snake. Slept with god knows how many women. You gonna spend rest of life with him? arnav spoke increasing his volume

“is this why you held him like that? Because he slept with women? “ Khushi asked politely

“whaaat? Don’t you have any problem that he slept before? He cheated on you Khushi!!”.

“why should I have problem?,but wait, tell me since when you started showing up all this middle class statements . who sleeps with whom , Really Mr Raijyada? how many times, did it ever bother you?, but let me remind, which men in High society, the society which you flaunt to be so fashioned, speaking about liberty, freedom, still remain virgin till age of 30? If no, then you are lying right?. How many women did you sleep with Mr raijyada. Is that should be Ok with you ? or would you be giving all that count for the girl whom you will marry in future? And yeah..how many women did Karan raped before turning out to be extraordinary good person?”

“ I cant believe. You are saying this? ” arnav asked being emotional

“Why not?” Khushi spoke and then continued. “and by the way, Aman did not cheat me. He did mention me that he had affairs, he had some sexual issues. Yes !, Mr raijyada he has told me that he had slept with women. Now indeed, I feel extremely good that he infact shared this before marriage. A trust which any women could necessary want.”

Arnav shockingly turned to look at Aman and then at Khushi.

“Arnav, I told you , Iam not the same Aman. You are misunderstanding me” Aman mocked

Arnav stared back at Khushi. “Very well, its nice to hear that you have got such a great heart to accept and still live with the person. Its nice to know that you got to know that he slept with women. and yes its still nice to know that you have become so open minded, equally liberated like me, considering open thoughts and moreover finally coming out of your middle class thinking. Its really nice to know that you really don’t have problem with his past… I appreciate that….aman seems to be honest with you..And I guess he might have also told that he slept yesterday with bar tender girl in the leela palace resort all fully aware that he was going to exchange ring with You…, and day before yesterday with a prostitute in MG Road’s Shelton hotel. “ Arnav turned to aman “Am I right Mr Aman Verma?”. Aman was going to say something, when Arnav stopped him. “Iam not done”.

He turned back to Khushi. “Mis Khushi Gupta, I think you might also be knowing that day to day before, he was in Mumbai, and he slept with one American lady in..and to that previous day…uff…the list goes on. But hold on, there is some twist in it. The interesting fact here is , he likes to have much needed fun DAILY with DIFFERENT WOMEN!! arnav shouted in his pitch. And then suddenly lowered his tone. And continued” . I wonder will he be same Aman or not after marriage? Or with more some extra sexual powers?. Performing act with different women, or would he prefer to mask you to remain faithfull to you Khushi? He turned towards Aman and questioned- How would you deal with such complex sexual issues ,Mr Aman Verma. ? Your daily necessary doses ”

Khushi was left stunned for a moment. Eyes wide open, not understanding a bit what Arnav was saying,…She gazed towards Aman and

Arnav walks near to her, more closer….”Now iam surprised, will that be still ok with you miss Khushi Gupta. ?”

Arnav was so close that, Khushi was able to hear his every breathe.

“I like to worry and focus on today, tomorrow and future. How about you Khushi? “ “and yes, Let me clear you one more thing, I might have slept with many women before , because I was not committed to ANYONE. Because I was NEVER in LOVE that time. But he..”

“Mr Raijyada, Is this why you came from Mumbai to tell me all this? This is what you wanted to talk with me urgently?” Khushi spoke cutting him mid way.

Arnav looked away and then back to her, to reply in straight short “Yes.”

“Why?”

“To protect you Khushi, don’t you understand?” Arnav stared deep in her eyes..

“Why you want to protect me ?” Khushi asked equally staring back into his deep eyes.

“Becoz I care for you Khushi. Don’t you recognise?” Arnav eyes moved from her shining dazzling eyeballs , eyelids, to her shimmering lips

“and why do you care for me Mr Raijyada?”

“Because I..”

Before Arnav could say next, everyone hears a loud thud sound and buaji shouting in her higher most pitch.

“Sheeeetallll. l!!!’.

Khushi eyes wide zoomed, in panic suddenly and she ran away to the source of sound in a blink of an eye..

“You cant force love, you cant control how someone else feels. You just have to enjoy it when it lasts and in the hope the ride does not end”

Believe, me i had to scratch my head like anything to write this chapter. I felt it so tough i dont know.... like...Should I go with engagement or not, should arnav make an entry , shout in front of everyone about aman ....what all not was running in my mind....

I know many would have not liked what i presented, but to be honest , i wanted to show every time the person cannot be lucky and get things easily... The realisation of getting the things after certain pain is worth while. ARnav in my story has never come across anything which he could have struggled for. He never went through that...So I wanted him to go through that when things didnot happen his way........

pyar ka maja to intezar aur tadap mein hai na?; ;;););)

But I promise I wont drag much and would end this story in next few chapters....
