LOL well I don't hate Vaani as much as you do I guess....I thought she was decent in War with Hrithik and from recent movies I felt she did a good job in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.

Mujhe zyada allergy toh Fatima se hai who was terrible in Thugs of Hindustan waali movie and ofcourse yeh plastic Kiara doing plastic-giri in every movie. Vaani has messed up her face with whatever surgeries she got but she is still a better actress than some of these others.

Opening week of OTT cringe harkatein got Ravivaar show to 2.3😆.....I'm skeptical of this being maintained in the following weeks though😆

In other news, Fliplie ji kahin dikhaayi nahin de rahi in top 5 despite "increase" to 2.0 🤣

Jaaniya fangirls gonna take this as success that Fliplie is oscillating between 1.9 and 2.0 but still consistently out of top 5 regardless? 😆.....Time to move the goalposts for good and start consoling yourself with top 10 for now until eventually woh bhi nahin rahega😆

Made picspams after many days cuz I was doing my IB rewatch catch up again😆

While watching this epi, I was struck by the thought that IB was the last time Gul got the family drama right.....after that she made chindi supernatural shows and cultivated a different fanbase through that. Kulfi I never watched but I didn't get the sense it got into the depth of family bonding that IB managed to. Even with all the cheesy/corny song and dance routines, the core emotion of the love between brothers beyond just showing off for style or one-liners.....IB somehow managed to navigate that effectively.

I see more laziness at play in Gul's subsequent shows....half-baked family dynamics hastily cobbled together and expected to survive on the basis of whatever acting the cast can bring to the table or through some dialogue assistance from Divy saab.....lol but these are just disjointed parts if your characterization lacks soul. IB for whatever reason managed to have conviction in the bond between the brothers despite all kinds of contrivances in the story....that is the reason that after all the groupbaazi bakwaas also, at this point in the story nearly 500 epis in, they could deliver an epi like this which connected back to the core point of Shivaay's soul being joined to his brothers....his yearning for them, his "main sab theek kar dunga" still showing conviction despite the umpteen times he got blackmailed😆.

And Anika so seamlessly blending into and adding to that feel of family for Shivaay....I said it so many times before but they conveyed that sense of being a unit so effectively with Shivika...it's laughable to hear people boasting of 50-50 jodi aajkal when they are all poorly copied versions of Shivika's takkar ka dynamic which didn't constantly need announcement of how "equal" they are to still manage to convey two strong willed individuals in a marriage. Shivaay as a stylized character fit into the theme of the show and didn't feel like something being forced upon us with slow motion.....lol also the people who die over Atif's current cinematography experiments can cast a look at this scene alone to see how IB anyday had superior cinematography😆.....how beautifully they captured this scene with the backdrop of the setting sun.

Idk😆 Teh kya kicchadi of KGF meets RRR meets something else in thr mix.😆 I mean not bad but the timing as always is all wrong after itna bada blockbusters of these kinds this seems rather try hard to kinda give that larger than life hero 8th double role and all. Rk is not bad but still overall not convinced ..even the stunts look way too copied in the sense ke yahaan bhi giant train sequence hai though it is not even 5% of RRR ka train stunt

Oh manthis brings the memories ba k how excited we were after the episode spoiler pic and how mesmerized we were by these epsi8des as that week was so extraordinary and truly was caz aaj tak humko yaad hai and we cherish it like that.. the execution was top notch. It moved us so much and hit us hard I the feels even though none of it was u predictable there too we k ew exactly this will happen and was coming yet they managed to build the whole thing only based on solid emotions and family drama..ahh good times..lso beautiful picspams👏

Seriously the Raviwaar show got 2nd spot?🤣🤣 With all the immature drama by ST? Looks like another OTT Sunday episode coming up with all the promos floating around - who knows this week it will cross even Anupama

Are you guys watching Banni and if so liking it? I am thinking of starting it after my india trip- will be convenient to binge watch ha ha..

LOL I don't remember the memories about being excited for spoilers but I'm just reminded again why this was the only Gul show I stuck around with for that long 😆

500 epis tak bhi we were getting episodes like this in terms of execution and acting....warna the sheer laziness in how Gul copy/pastes across the board in all her shows is enough to put anyone to sleep. But with IB they were still making some level of effort uptil 550 and even the early days of redux.....lol.....while Imlie ke case mein they literally stopped making effort the moment the show got Gul-ified with creep Jaaniya entering. Now I'm feeling more allergic than ever to Gul shows and find myself more skeptical than ever if I'll even bother watching for on/off timepass in the future.....lol

Yeh two IB epis revisit karke hi mann halka ho gaya mera thoda sa kal....lol and I enjoyed making the picspams after so long.

Imlie rewatch toh I don't even want to do until/if the show ever manages to end....it's too distasteful at this time. IB ke case mein bhi the rewatch felt better once the trashfest had ended. I'm deffo thankful that Shivika still provide that connect even after so much time has passed and NM-SC have done all kinds of lame roles since.....lol....even after Gul has attempted to do tacky/lazy copies of Shivika, the OGs still stand out for the dynamic that was unique to them - na koi Gul pair isse pehle, na iske baad has managed to get that takkar dynamic down like that.

LOL no, I don't think Ravivaar show has any scope to cross Anupama in the coming weeks.....TRPs will likely fall after this initial opening week ka high....same thing happened with the Smart Jodi reality show that SP was running in this slot earlier.

Re: Banni.....yep I'm still watching it. Didn't know anyone else here was interested in daily updates so I didn't post much about it😆.....waise bhi it's a pretty simple show - no grand mystery or layers going on that need a lot of analysis 😆

Currently they are setting up the shaadi track....engagement epis are coming up. Kal ke epi mein Yuvaan tried to put the engagement ring on Banni cuz someone told him ki jis ladki se engagement ho jaayegi, woh tumhari best friend ban jaayegi😆.....anyways Banni stopped him and scolded him again ki we're not getting married - hum bas best friends hain😆. Meanwhile on the side, woh Yuvaan ke Daadu and gang have started hoping ki YB ki shaadi ho jaaye after seeing their bonding.....lol kal ke epi mein "symbolism" bhi kar diya of Banni accidentally entering the house with red footprints😆.

I dunno how closely they are following the original show but yeah at this rate given how Yuvaan every other day is trying to marry Banni somehow in his childish understanding of things, toh wohi sudden sindoor waali shaadi ho jaayegi. Banni will initially be all upset with him but baad mein I guess dosti waali shaadi mein settle ho jaayenge dono....lol all depends on TRPs I guess how much they try to sustain or speed up the story about Yuvaan getting cured and then "proper" love story....lol....right now they are just like two kids frolicking around and then on the side Banni beats up the villains😆. Yuvaan has come to severely depend on her as his protector toh future mein yeh dynamic flip bhi kar sakte hain to show if he manages to protect Banni in his own way.
