Just went back to a very beloved song from a Hindi-Remake of the Tamil movie Mudhalvan (1999). The Hindi version came out in 2001 and has a classic Maniratnam + Rahman combination, which can never go wrong, like ever.

Rituuuuu, this is not Maniratnam’s movie but Shankar’s movie. Maniratnam doesn’t do remakes, he is an original piece 😆

That said, the Tamil equivalent of this song is very good, would say much better than Hindi one, IMHO.

So a friend mentioned watching 'Satte-Pe-Satta' yesterday and I went back to this song instantly! I've been playing it on loop since yesterday and I can't seem to stop myself from getting obsessed with it allover again. What a feel-good, tranquilizing masterpiece this is!

'Shaapit' is one of the most criminally underrated Albums of all time. The movie stars a foetus Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal (his wife now) in lead roles and the story is unbearable, let's just put it out there. 😆

It is NOT a decent watch did terrible at the box office. Cringe scenes with a story that feels unnecessarily dramatic takes away the excitement of the viewers, which is why the Music of the film went unnoticed by everyone.

Each one of the songs in the playlist has a charm to itself!!!

A vibe that fits perfect to the shot or the scene, no matter how overdramatic it is.

All the songs are supreme I feel. Aditya did a great job singing the songs but as a Debut this movie didn't fetch him much and I feel he didn't do another one after this either, completely stuck to music afterwards.

The two leads met on the set, fell in love, married and had a baby this year! 😃

I myself was a foetus when this movie released. No kidding but the songs were an instant obsession for me! Will link all of them Down Below! 😳
