If i am not wrong Bilal never did soaps as lead but ended up being one of the leading guys in 8pm pak dramas without much connections but Usama is not able to do that. Ahad, azad sami khan etc directly got 8pm dramas as leads on hum tv whereas even after so many years Usama only managed to get supporting roles.

I guess, it depends on the luck too , combination of screen presence , talent and your project choices and hype those projects have gotten. For example, Wahaj Ali( who looks good and acts well )too has been working for quite a long in the industry but despite doing many lead roles , he got the recognition from ehd e wafa, even then he kept getting supporting roles before he got proper break with Ishq jalebi. While Bilal and Ahad initial projects were hit amongst the audience. I guess , when an actor keeps doing soaps or debuts with soap, they are typecasted, it is the same like, in india tv actors are not able to make big in bollywood because many are seen with a tv actor perception. If you notice, most of the actors who are doing soaps, you will see them in soaps only, they dont get casted in dramas , if they are seen in dramas ,it is mostly as side characters. Also, it is also like ,some actors are always in demand beacause they attract more audience and hence directors keep taking them again and again. Not many want to take a risk with the actor who has not done any successful drama or doing soaps, instead they prefer taking new bies or fresh faces. Usama has debuted with Soap, and he even won an award for best actor for that but then he only was offered soaps mostly.

I tried watching that drama when it started but was way too boring. I was super exicted for that one since i liked sada haq and kyy. Also kyy and sada haq fans used to fight with each other as well🤣.

Even in India that happens. We get a Ananya pandey who thinks struggle means landing a gig on karan’s couch ( no pun intended) and once you are on coffee with karan you have made it 🙄🙄🙄 and then you have Sushant Singh rajput who was a very very good actor. I hope he gets casted in big production house. I know Farhan, Romeo’s big bro, that guy from koi Chand rakh, feroze khan are big names but I think usama can get there. Fingers crossed!

Hum Tum was good. You should watch that. I liked Junaid Khan more in that drama . His coming timing was apt. But first watch Chupke Chupke ,it was the best amongst all. Recommendations, what dramas you have already watched? So i can give you some, also what kind of dramas you love? For light hearted ones: go for Chupke Chupke, hum tum and ishq jalebi .

Oh yes, i do feel he deserves to go there. In TV ,one project can make you a star overnight. Khaani changed things for Feroze. So you never know, one project and he can be there. 🙌

Bilal does seems to be lucky along with having talent. Wahaj made it after a lot of struggle it seems. I don't think ahad can be compared to Bilal or wahaj or osama. He has strong backing and straight out started doing high profile pak dramas. He was the newest one in ehd e wafa and still got the meatiest role even though i thought the other 3 were better actors. He is like the privileged nepo kids in Bollywood but with decent acting skills like Ranbir or Alia. Not amazing but decent enough that people won't point fingers at casting him.

Anmol is pretty and acts better than Sarah Khan or her sister but why isn't she getting cast in 8pm dramas?

Cant agree more with you. Even i feel, Ahad was really lucky. I never found him as really amazing as he is made out to be. He is decent at max. In Ehd E Wafa, all three were definitely better than him.

Bilal has done quality projects and all amazing. And he is talented too. Not every actor transitions so well from a lover boy in Qurban to Helpless husband in balaa to a murderer in cheekh to socially awkward guy in PKS. I loved him in Dunk where he hardly had dialogues but he nailed every scene with his expressions. There are very less young actors like him so he had to be succesful purely on talent plus he looks great.

Usama needs to get some good quality projects to show case his talent, he lacks quality projects. Most of the characters he did in past were all meh as leads. 😆 His side characters like in Dobara and Ishq Jalebi were better. Then here as Shehroz.

Noor Zafar cannot act all 😆 she is lady sufiyan in terms of expression. I guess. Again it is luck factor, Sarah got popular with initial projects while Anmol could not.
