Don't take my words as I don't appreciate or believe Sam's popularity, the way they are used in Media is debatable. She is Superstar, I am also her fan but she yet has to make impression pan india level.

As you have asked about celebrities, not specifically bollywood actors, I will say TV celebs are worshipped like Gods here. When I was in ipkknd forum, I remember people used to praise Barun Sobti as if he is the best actor ever to walk on planet Earth.

The other day I saw on Twitter, the never ending show Ye rishta kya kahu, has got a new lead, Harshad chopda is paired opposite a new comer, may be, I don't know and people are gaga over his lipstick lips. Srk, Salman, Akshay are bashed for acting with young actresses, but people never bash Harshad though he looks like her father or may be some oldest cousin in close ups.

I don't watch any TV shows, so don't know the current lot, but TV celebs have huge fanbase on IF

Those fans don't come to BW Forum, so here BW Celebs are discussed. They are usually active on TV Forums.

Kudos to Katrina for have consistently made those lists since she debuted and despite long breaks. What she lacks in acting credibility she definitely makes up for ten folds in popularity and IT factor.
