It says armed forces (army, navy, airforce) will be appointed on a 4 year contract basis. So people are rightfully enraged as that would take away many employment benefits. I'm not sure if anything related to the benefits has been announced. If it has then plz feel free to correct me.

So that's for new recruitment only, right? I heard they're doing this to cut costs, pension etc.

But they won't cut the pensions to families of deceased military members right, I know some older women whose sole income is their husband's pension
