Regarding the OST:

The first two lines seem to be Shamsher, then from tera saaya its Mehak...

What I think:

He's singing that she's hurt him coz she won't accept his love...then she says "tera saaya mere aage meri awaaz peeche hai" aka (what I feel) he's walking ahead of her, he's kind of become her "shield" but awaaz peeche to me feels like he still doesn't really hear her out.

Then "tera dil koi patthar hai meri jaan iske neeche hai"...he loves her but she doesn't reciprocate toh jaan atki padhi hai Shamsher ki, pain feel ho raha hai.

"Meri saansein mujhe de de, khudara mujhko jeene de": Mehak wants him to leave her and get out of her life. She's forgotten what it feels like to be alive.

"Meri faryad sunnle tu, kabhi sunnle meri arzi": Here it feels like he's arguing with her but more like a plea, that give me ONE chance, hear me out, but she doesn't budge.

Ab jab iske baad "main sau sau haari haari" aata hai na, tab I get a feeling Mehak finally gives in and falls in love with him.

Toh second antara is their push-pull relationship after marriage.

the previous week it was definitely the match! But this week the load shedding factor would have applied to every other show as well. This week on one day aik sitam aur got like 7.1 and mere Humsafar too has got a lil more than kTK. I just think right now the story has come to a plateau, so its going consistently never the less, but for the trps to get better than this the accident marriage scenario has to happen soon. Mere humsafar mein ab pura masala chal raha hai with hamza and hala having tensions so i guess it surpassed.

The last two weeks there have been obstacles but YouTube views are consistent, rather they are getting better. Iss week I think Wed ko electricity rahegi toh pata chal jayega real scene kya hai.

Okay after reading your take, it relaly made me understand what the literal meaning is.. like for example saaya is definitely shamsher being a shield and protecting her (hayye cant wait to watch this) and this bit ki meri aawaaz peeche hai.. yeah now it makes sense to me ki he is not hearing her out, uski dil baat shamsher tak pahunch nahi rahi.. earlier i dont know why but this time this bit after 4:00 i have had trouble even understanding the literal meaning of these sentences..

So i agree with what all you have said, but i still do feel in this bit there has to be something about mehak loving him back too .. here this decoding does feel one sided, since its a love story after all according to dur e.. i wanna know what are the clues that mehak too loves him back.. that haari haari bit for sure.. That daaman se lipta .. mera aasu gira toh nahi . Its like mehak is there to wipe Shamshe's tears or more like not let his tears fall.. like she has kept them very carefully tied to her as they are precious..

So yeah all this is there ..

Okay ashley after reading your ost decoding..

Do you guys feel yes, mehak does fall for him. But she doesn't want to be with him for all that has happened with her and her family at the hand's of shamsher himself. Cuz its against her morals or she cant seem to forget and forgive. Would that make a quintessential tragic love story? You love this person now fkr they have redeemed but yet you just cant be with them for what has happened earlier?

Actually I have been looking at clues for the same thing, but the way she says meri saansein mujhe de de kinda changed my mind.

So far it seems the OST is one sided...unless a second one is coming up and we have no idea. Doesn't have to be a new tune, just new lyrics.

Coz its pretty evident she won't love him until afterwards. Bahot time hai abhi. And the feeling I get is he will be such a shield, despite losing his wealth and power, and gradually she will fall for him. Tab tak voh cold rahegi...but jab dekhegi na ki voh selfless ho gaya hai and uske liye kuch bhi kar sakta hai.

Because in the second antara its very clear that the male voice is Shamsher and the female is Mehak...confusion create bhi isliye hui coz usse pehle we were thinking which line fits whom...coz beginning mein lines Mehak ke viewpoint se lag rahe hai.
