Divorce must not happen through coercion. Both Harsh and Abhi were forcing Manjari ( Abhi’s intention are good I’m not contesting that) . Ak was against the coercion - because she believes no one should be forced. And the family rallied behind her. Abhi’s way will not stick in the long run. If you force Manju mata she will sign now and return to Harsh the next day - it’s the cycle of the abused.

We need Manjari to decide if she wants to stay in a meaningless and abusive marriage and that decision might occur because of Neel. And then she will make that decision with her heart and mind aligned and then there is no stopping her.

Ak is fighting Abhi to get Manjari that time and space to make that decision.

The family will be impressed with the stand she takes for Manjari ( unfortunately it’s at the cost of her own relationship with Abhi, as we know). Its a display of her strength of conviction and right and wrong ( everyone thinks she is another Manjari - hell even Abhi thinks that in some corner of his heart and mind) but her quiet strength and courage is in full display here. She will win a few Birlas in this battle even if it seems like she is losing a Birla in the bargain.

Just like Abhimanyu may share certain traits of his father but he is his own person. He intentions are always coming from the point of concern and care. He has the capacity to listen and learn from his mistakes. His only flaw is his anger that clouds his judgment.

Akshu may share certain traits with Manjari but she too is her own person. She is observant. She has her own self respect and she will stand up for what she believes is right. Her only flaw which is also her greatest strength is love. She inheritly tries to find the best in people and attempts to build relationships with them even if perhaps some relationships should just not be bothered (example Arohi, Harshvardhan)
