Honestly I feel Shail is not that bad (in comparison to Shalini)...at times he did felt emotional/concerned about his family

But Shalini keeps triggering him and hence his behavior...also alcohol plays a major role

Yes may be Shalini as out of the house and both of his children got a new lease of life that is the main reason that whole negativity is out of the house ,she use to keep brain washing the whole hose against Yohan ,Sejal and Dhristi ,may God keeps her away from now on .

May be I starts watching it the next day as well because I miss a lots of parts ,but I don't delete it .

Shail's feelings for his siblings actually does come out at times. Immediately Shalini supresses it.. She doesn't want him to have a good relationship with them.
