Too many advertisements, how much are they spending on promotions? I got advertisement of Brahmastra trailer when I clicked on the link of the trailer to watch it. It was popping up in every video I was trying to watch on YouTube

Now, I opened my Twitter and

Its irritating me now, the hype should be organic, this seems like an effort to sell their cheap product

don't be so surprised at mouni making an impact,she is a dancer after all she can't be completely incapable at emoting

anyway there have been cases of good actors giving bad performances and generally bad ones giving at least one good performance

I’m genuinely hoping for everyone’s sake that the movie does well as too much money and time have been invested. But ai agree with all your comments. This looks like the mystical version of YJYD (Ranbir is still acting like his usual boyish man trying to find his path), Alia is totally sidelined (doesn’t come across as a lead).

Ranbir is sincere as always..i get the dialogue delivery part..but i feel that is because this is no Rockstar/WUS..so they have it dial it up a bit..

Alia seems to have the least impactful role, from the trailer at least, but she is sincere in whatever she does..her dialogue delivery is so good..when she says shiv tumraha hath..a small simple dialogue but you can feel the modulation so well

Amitab, Nagar, Mouni all seem in great form. I don't get the criticism for Mouni..she was so so good..the line she had in the trailer..the intensity in her eyes and voice was spot on

VFX is solid, this is a huge progress for BW..this is international level..

I am very thrilled to see this now..of course it is a super risky project..but i feel this will shatter opening records for sure..the hype is insane and unless the movie is bad. it should do great BO wise

My only concern is..why release the trailer this sooon? It is 3 months before release..a movie of this magnitude..you release it 3 weeks or max a month before and it stays super fresh..but the makers obviously know what they are doing.

She was the one who was getting most accolades. Where did you see the criticism for her? Most of the folks seemed to have liked Mouni, Nagarjuna and AB’s parts.

But some TV serials have lot better stories😆

Trailer looks nicely made. VFX looks great. Possibly could be a well made film. But its bollywood trying to do fantasy/adventure so I don't have my hopes up. BW almost always fails with this genre because they get sidetracked trying to do the classic love story alongside it (for ex, Krrish).

for any movie writing is the most important thing, if that is strong any vfx flaws will be overlooked, it was same for baahubali too, some of the war scenes were trolled but by then you are so emotionally invested in the characters that you brush it aside

next the dialogues have to be impactful

we celebrate stars more than writers, no star can do anything with bad writing

finally casting is important, you need certain personaliy for some roles especially mythological, too urban doesnt fit
