The show had poor writing.. and yes I personally didn't like Nakuul's SSO performance tht much.. I mean he was inconsistent in it.. some scenes he used to nail to perfection but some others he would be OTT. I like him a lottt more as Adi and Ram.

@bold But thats true.. Barun got skyrocketing popularity coz he played a hot MCP in a Gul show😆 Asur came later and yes I liked him a lot in that show 👍🏼 he is a good actor.

as for shivaay the acting was good but i dont like shivaay either 😆

The first 30 odd episodes till Zoya tries to commit suicide are pure gold. Then the makers decided to turn it into crime patrol and brought in Rajveer to implicate AdiYa for PooSh murder claiming AdiYa were in an extramarital affair and from there on the show lost its plot. Fans bashed it so much when Zoya justified her ex husband’s affair 😆 even AdiYa love story was rushed. Zoya became overly cheerful after the first leap when Adi disappears without a word and Adi became a depressed soul just like in BALH2. Lots of crazy things happened and they unnecessarily bumped off Harsh, Adi’s dad just like Shivi and brought in agnipariksha and what not and created the separation which was ugly.

Gosh , I hated Zoya so much for that ..

I didn't even want Adi and Zoya together after it ..

I can till date not forgive Zoya for calling Pooja and Yash extra marital affair as 'Paak '

Yuckkkkkk !!!!!!!!!!! Disgusting it was !!! Still boils my blood after years ..

The way Adi trolled Zoya , I vaguely remember that epic line Adi said when he tore those reports " Tumhe bohot faqr hoga tumhare pati par, kitna bada mard tha , doosro ki biwi ko pregnant karta hai, mujhe nahi hai, tumhe mahaan banna hai bano, mujhe chod do , something like that.." 🤣

After the first leap itself I just couldn't connect with AdiYa anymore ..

I left watching and would read updates randomly ..

There was so much built up for Pooja's diary , the murder mystery and it was such a big disappointment..

Don’t remind me of paak Poosh 🤢 I have bashed Zoya to my heart’s content 😆 Aditya’s one liners and Zoya’s Urdu dialogues were fab. I watched the first few episodes a gazillion times on repeat mode. Only for Harshad though I was a hard core Jenny fan 😆

I defo see Ram and Zoya as an amazing couple! Both are dumb AF 🤣 On a serious note Nakuul and Jenny might make a good pair.

I am not saying there was no chemistry between Nakuul and Surbhi. But it was more coz of eye locks, banter, romantic background, glamourised backdrop and intimacy. If you can execute these things well it’s not hard to establish chemistry. When I see Fawad Mahira in Humsafar, none of these factors were there. Hell they didn even hug but the chemistry they had was next level. Even in BP, the chemistry was good coz JenShad performed amazingly. There was no romantic background at the start. Yes all those were there but its a Gul show.. what else you expect. Thats how the story and characters were written na.. so they will perform accordingly..

I believe that instead if the romance was shown in a subtle way like you said in Humsafar and BP, they would still have chemistry. Coz there's that something in them. NaSha too have that.. even without too many intimate scenes, they look charming together..and have a very endearing chemistry.

It all boils down to what the theme of the show is. IB was loud, OTT, weird.. Humsafar and BP , from whatever I heard, were more subtle and natural. So yeah.. the characters and their dynamics varied accordingly.
