Akriti is dumb no doubt in it but what about BP because of his strong blind support she is doing all this. Why BP is accepting every wish of hers? Till now he didn't listen to his wife's single wish then why now?

I fail to understand BP's blind devotion to his bahu. The K ladies are not so broad minded n are focused on suhaagan, shaadi, haqq etc...n they will never go against their alpha.

I think it is his love for his position as Alpha male. He can't just accept that he might have made a mistake in arranging this hasty rebound wedding that too to GG's cousin. Maya's insult of him and his family must have hurt deep... So he wanted revenge, though he would never openly admit it coz that would tarnish his *wise sage old man* image. Now the best candidate of his family is on revolt and he needs to hold him back coz unless he reins Anu in, the unity of his joint family will shatter. His decisions will be questioned repeatedly, and his power diminished. So to keep his family together, he will need to establish that his decisions are always right and that means bending Anu to his will.
