Sure dear! I'm glad you are eager to learn more! 🤗

Hi, thank you for explaining so well, I study in Canada. The class I took was during 2018-2019. Im not exactly sure of what were we debating at that time. I just recall the prof terming it as a disease or maybe something related to genetics. Or maybe im confusing someone else’s statement but yeah I just wanted a clarity since this topic triggers me as I strongly believe it is not.

You're very welcome. Since you took the class so recently, and at a time when in-person learning was the norm, and "I study" is the present tense, you may have other resources to offer clarity: ask your former classmates what the discussion was; go to the tutoring centre and ask to speak to a tutor who is approved to help with the class; go to the library and ask if the textbook for that class is on reserve; email the instructor.

Whether a phenomenon is a disease or a genetic trait is a scientific fact that can be reasoned, tested, determined, defined, and explained. It shouldn't be a belief.

I study meant by answering your question in which country I study in 😆 Currently, I am a uni student so I don’t have contact with anyone from my college or that course. But surely I can look through the resources of my uni.

Hey sis,

I am sure you're mixing up this with some other topic. I have completed Mphil in Psychology and my dissertation topic was LGBTQ+, Psychology has never termed this as a disease.
