Unfortunately, Muslim countries are several magnitudes more rich, powerful, and influential when compared to India. If they refuse to sell oil to India, all the country will be in soup. Which is prob why the govt reacted as it did.

Govt should prob arrange classes in international diplomacy to all incoming representatives of the people at the beginning of each term. Sort of like sensitivity training at jobs. Because while Nupur Sharma had the right to say what she did, was it wise to act as though she was on India Forums, spouting off on Muslims? Clearly not.

The U.S. is not as bad in shape as India where oil is concerned because it actually has enough fields to self sustain if it came to that. Still, prices went up so much.

Develop RELIABLE AND CHEAP alternate energy technology so world will be less dependent on religious kooks. Gotta be done real fast, though.

Or throw open the oil wells until their economies are crushed, then deal with consequences.
