Would Sufiyan's actions be considered as gaslighting, when he kept telling Ushna that blood relations are different, and that he and his family will always be closer to her than Shehroz's family, even with everything they've done to her and Zainab? Maybe in Ushna's logic, he is still Zainab's nephew and she doesn't want to hurt nor humiliate him unnecessarily. Even Zainab seemed shocked when he was calling her a golddigger before he got arrested.
Urgh, maybe they're saving Ushna's firm speech to tell him to go to hell when he gets cuffed for attempted murder. Hopefully Ushna is the one to call the cops, he can't keep getting away with everything.
sufiyan is just convoluted -- if zainab is a stranger to ushna, then so is his family. he and his family just can't get over the fact that for the first time in their lives, they are not getting their way. so yea, they will remain close and torture these two ladies as punishment as long as they can. lets see how wahab and the family respond...
