Kanha is blunt.

And that is the best facet of Kanha.

He cut Anjali off with a clean break. No bakwas.

Sayuri wants to leave saying Anjali might want to talk personally. Kanha asks with whom? The wall? Implying that he too will leave with Sayuri and won't stya alone with Anjali.

Anjali without option confesses that she tried her design on Kanha last time he came and apologizes. But says she got weak as she loved him. Kanha tells her clearly that come later, implying her to leave. Anjali throws the bouquet and leaves.

Kanha is upset with Anjali but his main concern is that Sayuri shouldn't think anything wrong and clarifies.

Anjali has stepped into the field. She tells Saroj that Kanha is only hers and going home she does a wardrobe makeover, buying net sarees to look hot 😒

Kanha and Sayuri start laughing and smiling again, one reading a book and the other on his mobile. Then Kanha falls asleep there.

Since Nakul has slept too, Sayuri has no option but to sleep in the same room in the other bed. She sees him smiling in his sleep and calls him a flawed piece. (Poor Kanha is so happy today).They share a room for the first time.

Saroj goes to see Kanha and finds he is not in Nakul's room. She realizes that she has to do something before Kanha's duty becomes his wish and love. She gets Sayuri's kundali and decides to get it checked again.

Kanha wakes up to see Sayuri getting ready. He gazes at her stupefied for some time and smiles as he sees her unable to choose thr right bindi to go with her clothes. He wakes up turns her around picks up a bindi and places it on her forehead. Then he makes her see it. Sayuri smiles.

Nakul comes and there is a funny moment where Nakul and Kanha act as students and Sayuri their strict teacher. But of course Saroj comes and spoils it. But after she leaves they continue.

Saroj has gone to the pandit. The Sharma family plan to visit Kanha and Dream Girl is cooking Halwa for him.

Sayuri helps Kanha open thr toothpaste tube snd as he is brushing asks him if he can bath. He retorts immediately if she wants to help and then freezes 🤣

Sayuri stutters and said she will send Nakul and goes away. Kanha facepalms and calls himself stupid. One day he will get beaten for this.

Sayuri goes out, blushes and calls him stupid.

Saroj shows the kundali and the pandit reads them.

Though I wouldn't say I like Saroj at all but she is very insightful when it comes to her children.

She has rightfully predicted that very soon, the duty of her son will become his tempestuous Lovesickness -the signs of which he had already started to manifest . 😆

The sheer fact that Kanha has been able to cut ties with Anjali shows that he has never loved her in the first place, and Kanha had always been a petulant child around Sayuri.

I have loved Kanha’s seedhi baat no bakwas formula. The way he handled Anjali was so good.

Kanha and Saroj know each other very well. In fact let me put it this way, they are the ones who actually know each other's pressure points.

This is the reason why Kanha could convince/strong arm/corner/manipulate/ somehow make her agree to Sayuri Chiru's marriage. No one else could have done it.

He knew exactly where she will break and give in.

Same is Saroj's case. She may not love Kanha as much as she loved Chiru but she knows his pressures point. He knows how weak he is to freely given love and companionship, and how he desperately needs a steady support, the way Chiru was in his life. It is evident to her that he may imprint on Sayuri and she might make a space in his heart for herself which will be stronger than anything Chiru-Sayuri had because Kanha by far is the most emotional person here.

It is going to be interesting from here because this story is suddenly turning from Saas vs Babu to Mother vs Son. Once the Kundali truth comes out, I wonder if in future Saroj will ever be able to accept Kanha's affections for Sayuri. Will in her need for revenge against her own son, she destroy his life by snatching his life partner? How far can a mother go to poison her own son's life?

Misty 🤗 so beautifully written. Kanha He gets his stubbornness from Saroj for sure.

Chiru may be the ideal son, but he did not know what were the trigger points for Saroj. On the other hand, Kanha is extremely emotional, vulnerable and expressive just like Saroj. The only difference being optimism and goodness in the case of Saroj.

In Indian societies, we give so much God like status to mother despite of them sometimes being extremely toxic relationships that exists in families. Mothers are human beings, and Kanha dethrones Saroj most of the time. The non-subjugation of Kanha often challenges Saroj.

As you said, it would be exciting to see what lengths would Saroj go to punish Kanhlike the story as all of Saroj’s projected angst will be towards Kanha, too, now. What's interesting would be to watch Sayuri opening her heart to Kanha.

In Chiru, Sayuri probably saw a sense of security that she lacked in her family, owing to her father's death. Chiru had that aura of the elderly vibe around him. In Chiru-Sayuri scenes, we often see Sayuri talking like an adult, and there's peace.

Contrary to that, Kanha is like her alter-ego. Both are highly passionate and vulnerable. I can't wait for them to realise it. Kanha has always been naturally drawn toward Sayuri. He had called himself her shadow even when he got a new camera. Now, he has indeed become that. I can't wait for him to realise that they reflect each others.

In Chiru-Sayuri, Sayuri was the primary giver, while with Kanha, she is swamped in his unadulterated hatred, then his care, and ultimately his unfiltered love. It's a matter of realisation-shadow and reflection.

Like Rosh pointed out, its a legendary practice to walk on coal. I don't know if this is being still practiced in the North of India, but, its still a very famous practice in the South, especially in the month of Ashada (i think July-august) and also Chaitra (april - May) where in these months Goddess is celebrated. This show was originally in Tamil, so, may be thats why they are showing this coal walking. To tell you more, there is also this practice of walking with 1 or 2 hot coal in the pot walking to the temple and offering to God. Then, even eating food on the plain ground without plate or banana leaf etc. These are commonly shown in Tamil serials that I have watched
