Okay I also thought of what happened after that dundundun...the orphanage manager tells abhi that akshu is trapped in an underground den the kids built, when she went to comfort the mute kid some older kids played a prank and the den collapsed on them, she managed to assist the boy out through a tiny hole but she got trapped and the air holes are slowly closing up! Abhi hears this and tells it to the gorilla clowns they all rush to the orphanage! On arrival at the orphanage the manager tells them that only one fire crew was available to help as there was another emergency in the city! Let's make abhi a little bit more worried, the manager tells abhi that Akshara kept on saying something about a promise before the air holes closed up. So the gorilla men all work together to save akshu...all united in the process to save the one connection that connects all of them together! Papa birla realised how poor the orphanage is and decides to help it out. Akshu is saved everyone is forgiven and she gets a grand welcome home..until the next khand!

So the writers have given her good talking points. It just they keep her mute during big khaands. When she does speak it is usually impactful I am just hoping they will give an opportunity for Akshu to speak appropriately when it is necessary. Right now the one person she needs to speak to is Abhimanyu. Then afterwards we have to see how the family is reacting. She will probably keep quiet as what is more important Neil’s state of mind, Harshvardhan's actions, and Manjari’s hurt and anger at the moment. These 3 are the most affected by this secret being revealed.
