It would have been much more intriguing if they didnt have revealed Ahsan’s character being a fraud in the teaser and ost,it is like giving away the story!!They could have build up some suspense regarding it and revealing it after few epis in a slow pace perhaps😔

Yeah exactly teaser main na reveal kiya hota toh aur maza ataa. Still i guess more twists and turns are there.

4-5 episodes taak sabko pata chal jaye ga ahsan ky fraud ky barey main. Atleast 30 episodes toh hongi na. So baki ki 25 episodes main koi na koi twist toh aye ga.

Ikr hopefully it'll be good and fresh .

Yeh sab dramas ki pace start main itni fast hoti hai aur phir dragging start hojati hai. I hope isky saath aisa na ho

After one day of marriage, saba mil was asking for jewelry but not a single doubt came in her mind. Tho how rapidly this fraud happened it was a bit odd but still happy with the pace.

The story telling could have been better!Why they are showing the fraud happening in such an obvious manner!Also it is not convincing at all,Saba’s character giving all the jewelry and check like that.Why wouldnt she go to the bank herself?They were so apparent in being suspicious that anybody with common sense could decode that!I think later on Saba’s character will get hitched with Mikal as his mom was highlighting the new girl that will come in his life in future.They could have done a much better job in creating suspense.

generally such scams happen really quickly -- basically victims don't have time to think or process. if you notice, every time saba starts to think, he seduces her with his sweet words that she gets totally distracted. then instead of being suspicious, she goes along with the flow.

it is the IG type scams that involve social media are the long con. the shaadi type scams are quick, fleece and exit.

also even without scams, there are many families where they demand the dowry immediately - knew one relative where the guy's family said they needed to put everything in locker and wanted all the gift money to be transferred to their bank account. this was within a week or two after the wedding. it took a lot of negotiation and back and forth to say that we (girl's side) were going to keep the jewelry in her safe (family) and the money was being used to furnish the house as relatives had given gifts to buy specific items. so it depends -- some people are shrewd but other girls and families are afraid to rock the boat and ask too many questions initially.

actually think it is realistic. if you read the news of such scams in real life, people are not suspicious at all. often they are so focused on the wedding and finding a groom that they are not paying attention to whether it is really a good family and the guy's character. there is no real investigation. some may find something odd but they tell themselves that everything is alright. then after the guy has run off with the jewelry and the money, then it sinks in they have been conned.

there was one news article I read where the guy was pretending to be some fella working in singapore. saying he had to report back to office, they convinced the girl's family to do the marriage within 2 weeks. after a week after the wedding, he said something about a sick relative and left with cash and jewelry. took a few weeks for the family to realize they have been conned. when they filed a report at the police station, she was something like bride#7 or 8. so this drama is probably inspired by such news stories. .
