While now he's in a comfortable zone with settled life and family.

I am not saying he is God or cannot make mistakes

But the scenarios stated were wat a person wud do whether alone or family life ..... b/w if it is for family d person wud be more alert n try to find these things for their safety ..... if smth like dis happens as it is a serious issue like attempt on life or explosion at home ..... will u just let it go or do smth abt it

But its more lack of narrative i think, the show has always treated murder attempts on leads casually, for drama sake and keep the vamps relevant.
