Actually, now that we have seen Faiz is singing a solo on at least one of the days, I would not be surprised if they drop all pretence of being a contest for the kids and instead get PD and Arunita to sing those same songs from the II12 Govinda episode. Nothing can be put beyond Sony and TCT!

Pawandeep - Arunita performed on 3 songs in the Govinda Special in Indian Idol. 2 of them are mentioned here in the article, which will be performed by Arunita & Faiz.
