In season 1 ram's brother did a very big fraud which harmed many people and he put all the blame on ram. That time Niharika(nandini of season 1) said the police that ram is the culprit and that's where ram comes to know about the truth of his so called family. But priya came in last moment and took all the blame and saved ram

I am not saying nandu clan will kill shivi but maybe they will try to take advantage of that and try to show ram as the killer hence ram coming to know their true faces. But priya comes in last moment and takes the blame on herself hence saving ram hence ram regrets for misunderstanding her and supporting his evil family over her

Maybe both seperation track and vanvas track can take place😃

The BTS already shows Priya in jail and Ram visiting her. Not only this he truly believes that Priya killed Shivi. He goes to meet her in jail and demean her. Plus he tells her that no matter what he will make her life hell and will hate her till eternity.
