Sure, we don't appreciate him and do expect him to redeem himself and pay for the hurt that he has caused Appu but this whole track is not as unrealistic and awful as people are making it sound.

Not to mention that this arranged marriage was absolutely against his wish too! He didn't hate her but he couldn't tolerate her behavior before marriage!
