As per his character growth, he will not confront her...He is handling maturely and not creating scene and fight. This is related to his past and it has resurfaced due to Ak's foolishness..He said in his monologue that my mother would not have suffered if Ak did not throw the surprise party..So he not tolerating this time...

He is giving her silent treatment that is worst for her..This dull head lady needs to get in her brain that not everything she sees or assumes is as per...Mind her own business first before taking the charge of others...khud ke per to abhi mazbut nahi hue Birla house mein...dusro ko sidharne chali...

Agree I feel sad for those who cannot differentiate between venting out emotions and abusing a person.

If shouting at akshara is abuse then making a mockery of a spineless parent even unknowingly on their special day amounts to abuse as well, which I think akshara has committed.

Little did Akshara change or tried to learn from her past mistakes.

Ignorance can be bliss for Akshara but not for the people who are victims of her foolish actions. Her character is similar to the loyal monkey who chopped her master's nose while trying to protect them from a fly.

The CVs can whitewash or let people forget and pretend as if she hasn't done anything. But, she is wrong on many fronts including poking her nose onto others life in the name of surprise, not owning upto her faults, running away from a problem instead of facing the consequences and whole heartedly apologising for the pain she has unintentionally caused them.

Today, the man in question who has anger issues did not create a scene in front of guest, heard her bakwas family, love and all gyaan without uttering a damn word, did not question her forget raising his voice... if he is an abuser, then HB is a saint.

5) Akshara has herself experienced HB vileness

6) Akshara has herself refused to listen to the backstory

And apart from it, Abhimanyu clearly told her to not arrange the party because things are different and she did not asked which type of different. Maybe, I am nitpicking but I ask questions. She have not even picked up that he is traumatised. I just cant with her.

And then her prem, dosti, vishwas and parivaar gyaan paints a picture where she too believes that Abhimanyu is not a family person. Abhi loves family. The thing is, he do not tolerate toxicity in name of family. I just dont connect with her even though I want to.

Going through a part of what she went through as child, I wanted too but there is no depth in her character and no substance. People fall but people learn to stand up too but all she does is ignore.

Agree I'm surprised why are people not understanding that the FL character hasn't been developed well, which is kind of palta-ing the entire serial and it's premise, the redemption of her character should begin with her admission of mistakes and guilt openly.

I'm not expecting a super woman who can miraculously achieve everything or a know-it-all, instead my expectation is for a FL who is sensible enough to grasp, admit, understand and rectify her mistakes.

Make the FL correct her mistakes after each kaand and don't let audience live in a limbo if the dumb head has learnt anything or she will continue doing kaand upon kaand.

Sadly there can be change in other characters but not for akshara and her attitude.

To me akshara looks like that king who had gone naked and was never made aware due to his influential position.

Exactly. People can call me hater, biased (which I am no doubt but it never meant I don't like AK), negative, I don't really care. One because I have heard worse, second, I KNOW I want AK to be better as character and there is no improvement.

Accident track was repeat of Abhi and Aarohi marriage drama just more serious issues got involved and made into a mockery. Be it suicide, drug overdose or hit and run.

Also, Akshara not apologising for a single thing makes me cringe especially from the people who actually deserve that sorry. Her normalising abuse and toxicity is another turn off.

I dont even want her to solve all Birla problems. She is a damn individual, show her living her own life bcoz due to Aarohi she had lost it all.

And people say she is family oriented, I totally disagree.

My gosh, what has happened to this show?! is this what people really want to watch and waste their precious time? ...I suppose they are doing this to show she is making mistakes after mistakes, Birla's (ie Abhi and his mum) will support her, teach her and in the midst she will 'fix' them all. See, I keep seeing that word...fix them all. What are they? animals..? it is not Akshu's job to fix them. If that was the case, then the advice would be for Akshu to fix herself first before trying others...like that saying physician heal thyself...

I would have appreciated it more if Akshu concentrated on her marriage, set about bonding with people, trying to sort her career out......this Season is determined to have a backward approach when S3 should have been all about advancement.

Oh and please, HC and his stylist, get his a haircut pronto! it is so out of shape that is looking awful.

Yes Birlas are not animals or anything that Akshu needs to fix them. Rightly said. We need to give them space and let them handle their problems. No one is perfect. Everyone has right or wrong.

I think ITV needs to grow up and show woman focusing on her husband and career. It's good If she is making her place in the family and developing relations but not forcing on them or changing them. These things needs to be changed.

Honestly Akshu's character is not real at all in today's generation. Today's women after marriage will be planning honeymoon with husband. But ITV fl's are different except Sonakshis character. I used to like how she always stood up for right and wrong and still tried to win her family and her prioritizations. We should introduce those characters more and let people see what today's women really is.

I just adore Sonakshi character and wish there are more such FLs in ITV, the way she raised her daughter and rised in her career simultaneously is an inspiration to single mums.

I wish akshara character was shown having atleast an ounce of Sonakshi's common sense, courage or empathy.

Even today akshara has let us down when she deserted Abhi by preponing her pagphere while he is tormenting in the misery inflicted by her foolish actions.

Don't bother with negative criticism. Not everyone can watch it with blinkers on , just for the actors or their chemistry..those who watch the show for different reasons will criticize it too .

I know how itv works , doesn't mean its wrong to expect something better and different . Akshu by far has been the most regressive leads of yrkkh. I was watching this movie aaina which is 30 yrs old now , and wahan bhi the sister fought with her elder sister for her marriage , there also the husband told her never to give up something that's rightfully yours. Woh timepar bhi aisi stories aati thi and they r givingus akshu in 2022? 😆

I know women get abused in large numbers , mostly behind the doors but who endures it like akshu? Hell even manjari doesn't. In the name of family in the name of relations ..there has to be a limit . Manjari also cares for this man but she can see he crushes her self respect each time. Akshu ko toh woh bhi nai dikhta.

Today if I justify akshu bec of good intentions I feel as delusional as her 😆 sab dekho aur aankhen bandh karlo. nai hota. I can speak my mind here.

Even when her dad was not respected she walked out of that house .. Then how she makes dev clear she will work from home or office will be her call... How she brought up her daughter.. How she always gave importance to her self respect..i can go on and on ..I really love those girls who stand up for their parents.. If you did not watch Shaurya and Anokhi see that.. Even in that serial Anokhi is very strong.. Very good serial.. Recently I watched on Hotstar and finished in 2 weeks..

But theek hai timepass ke liye this serial is good. I don't have blind love for these characters anyways. And not crazy like before but still enjoy watching Harshad on screen.

but post marriage enjoying woh tho hai Albela track. Kanha is giving very much dev dixit vibes .. He is cute 🥰🥰 their story is also like typical saas bahu types 😂😂 but loving Nakul Rashmi and kanha sanyuri . No one overacts in that serial except sometimes Kanhas mom so like that balance.

I totally agree and feel the same dear, Sonakshi is the best female lead ever written on ITV.

She has the kindness to support the needy, has the determination, courage to stand up for her values and beliefs.

I still watch KRPKAB S1 and enjoy DEVAKSHI tashan especially sona telling Dev not to bother whether she settles in mumbai or on the moon🌙.

The writer of the S1 Durjoy is majorly responsible for it's success, he's a good writer if possible read through his novels they are quite entertaining. I wish they have never made the S3.

Yeah WTHA is getting awesome and I just love the bonding between Kanha, Sayyuri & Nakul, definitely want to see the magic of SS.

I like SS acting in the angst scenes where he brings tears without sobbing too much, I also love scenes where he has his mischievous smile.

Saroj & Kusum are a bit OTT, being a girl I can't understand how can Kusum be so callous of sayyuri's trauma.

But hey it's ITV SO that's 👍

I don't have hotstar subscription in UK but will check the serial you have mentioned.
