Exactly. Aise channels ko FTA banate toh sach mein accha chalta. I remember Zindagi ka limited series format dekhkar log aur zyaada dekhne lage the channel ko. Trp kam hi thi leken par bhi ek popularity aagayi thi.

Samjho unka target audience thode padhe likhe log hai jo tv pr quality shows dekhna chah rahe hai, ya phir woh log jo foreign dramas pasand karte hai

But woh log toh already mobile pe dekh hi sakte hai na yeh sabkuch, at the end woh educated hai

Woh iske liye 75rs kyu denge faltu me

Toh phir yeh channel kiske liye serve ho raha hai?? Kisike liye bhi nhi

Isse accha FTA banake rural, untapped audience ko diff type ka entertainment dikhate

I had seen how channels demoralize the content for rural audience whereas they like to watch something that out of the box and urban centric too. So yeah if Zindagi was relaunched as an FTA it would have been so better.
