I just watched Deepika's answer to a question she was asked as a jury member -- it's gehraiyaan redux. What's wrong with her, seriously?!

She cannot articulate when put on spot. She gets nerves and mixes up her answers. That's her weak point. Just notice the pattern.

But you aren't a jury member at Cannes and you can get away with Miss South Carolina kinda answers whenever you're put on the spot. and even regular people learn to think on their feet if they've been doing it for years.

Deepika needs to learn a few standard lines she can mouth off whenever she draws a blank ... which is clearly always! She only ends up looking incompetent, like she bribed her way in there.

On being asked how she is going to critique movies being screened at Cannes, this is what she says:

(the last bit gives away the main issue though - she doesn't know the difference between criticizing and critiquing something and thinks they're one and the same)

My guess on what others around her were probably thinking in their heads? "Who died and made this brown barbie with a hay head a jury member?"..... trust me, that's what I've been saying too.
