I can only speak for myself when I say, I did not intend for it to be a discussion about consent and exploitation. It started out as a joke and then I remembered Karan’s comments which only speak for Karan btw - Karan and Harshad are two different people with two different opinion. And even in Karan’s words, he did not express clear discomfort or accuse anyone of mishandling him or exploiting him. He seems very happy with his body of work and I’ve seen his repertoire and the shirtless scenes did not seem like objectification to me. In fact, most of it come from his Instagram that he chooses to share. It was a general comment on characterization of male roles (I.e. brought into the show as a romantic interest rather than have their own character arc where they develop and progress as individuals, for example, we rarely saw Kartik working, his scenes showed him in the capacity of a husband and father, mainly).

Harshad is Harshad and he is the only person who can speak for himself.

You make talk about how his scenes affect you or what they express about male representation.

Comparing bodies is also not my intent - all bodies are beautiful and healthy and incredible. Mohsin and Harshad are equally incredible, if you think one’s body is better than the other than I’d say that’s personal opinion and shouldn’t negate another body’s beauty and the hard work put into maintaining that.

Don't apologize, I think everyone's reactions and comments are valid. I've always hated the phrase "over-reacted" because who gets to decide what's over and what's not. I think you and everyone else wrote what's on your mind and it's great to express yourself.

Well, it's like an unwritten rule of the show that they'll make Harshad shirtless at least once a week or fortnight. 🤣Harshad doesn't mind, his fans don't mind and seems like even trp audience don't mind. 😆

I wish someone would tell HC to get some strength training along with all the effort and hard work he puts in to keep a "sculpted" torso.. It always looks way hotter when a guy easily picks up and carries a heroine, more than just showing biceps and abs. What's the point of those when a tiny thing like Pranali with a heavy lehenga gave the poor man so much trouble when he carried her to the mandap.. He was actually tottering!

I was surprised because once upon a time he posted stories where he lifted 100 kgs weight. Pranali maybe 45-50 kgs + 10 kg lehenga shouldn't have made any difference.

Monday blues fatigue is visible on his face thought the episodes.

You are what you eat..fancy exercise regimes won't hold good if diet consists of Junk food.

I don't like shirtless scenes nor do I find any purpose. Do the audience tune in to watch him shirtless ? 🤔 😔They are forcefully included so that he can flaunt his body / the makers expect him to..sorry it's not my preference..be it any bw hero or itv. Likewise I am not too comfortable with too much skin show of ladies either. If the content is good , they don't need any gimmicks. It starts looking fake to the power of infinity . The perfect hair , make up, skin, body , hourglass figure , size 6 . They do work a lot to achieve it but it only shows how much importance we r giving to looks alone.

It has gone to the extreme.now..nose jobs, implants , eye jobs , lipo..seriously .
