The self infliction we say during the whole Aorhi wedding track was his desperation to not get engaged. He purposely hurt his finger so the ring could not be placed on the correct hand. Akshu hurt her hand by accident and it just so happened on the ring finger. All just symbolism that they are destined to be with one another.

But we will have to see if creatives go that route. Here we thinking of theories when in reality the scene was just well the shirt ripped 😆

I bet Mahima played a hand at ruining the relationship. There may have been a time Harshvardhan was okay with Manjari but my guess several big incidents occured that put Manjari in a bad situation and no one was there to support her so she ended taking the blame which then just made Harshvardhan think she is weak and any and every situation she handles will get messed up. So the trust slowly eroded away along with any care or concern.
