For the story wise it is better to have him gone .. then patralekha becomes more vulnerable.. and also virat’s Vaada to her .. we will always be best friends can play out ..

See the space shruti was claiming in Rono’s life was never justified .. and people could not sympathise with him .. this whole track in shruti 2 is better played by pakhi .. with family members a few ( her gang ) supporting her

Yes...Sammy's death so soon does not fit the story...but it all depends on whether the actor has quit or not...

While Pakhi has been over V for sometime now... She has not given up her grudge towards Sai...

This what they tried to establish in BK going soft on Sai and calling her uttaradhikari.

Pakhi was upset because Sai took two of her fav people in CN on her side. V and BK.

So she indeed can be left dormant.

My only point is... Why do they need to kill Sam?

If they show him rejoining army, his absence can be justified... And then this time he can actually go missing in action... Unlike the previous fake attempt.

That might be enough to cause Pakhi depression...

And if indeed he goes missing, she can blame Sai as usual and be vengeful.

But killing him negates the possibility of any future positive track...

See that they can always do .. but as of now there is no chance of replacement.. because they are suddenly investing in giving SamrAkhi moments for didi to remember him fondly ..

they would not have done the needful if a new actor was coming

Exactly!! also I believe. if sammy is leaving, and the story is not still at a point where he needs to be killed, they will always find a replacement. He is not irreplacable. For exmple: if Neil or Ayesha decides to leave, they have to kill the character. Because they are etched in viewers mind as Virat and Sai. Howmuch ever we all hate Pakhi, even Aish is not replacable i think. She is recurited at one of the leads and there are legal complications if they end her character without justification, UNLESS Aish puts up papers to leave. In that case also, they can still bring new face but not kill Sammy, if the story needs him still.

I still think it is the story that drives the exit of actors and not the actors other commitments per say. Unless Yogi has taken over heart of viewers that no one else can be imagined as samrat. I dont think yogi has made that place yet.
