I reserve my judgement until I can see Parth's full story. There has to be a reason for why he stays at home or whatever it is that is happening.

For all we know he's written music and keeps getting rejected. How is someone going to help themselves if they have no support from anyone in the house other than maybe Manjari? But I even question that because we have not had one scene in which she has talked to him about his musical ambitions. We only see them watering plants and talking in the kitchen. Does Neil check on him? Does Abhi check on him? Abhi is a music lover himself so why are we not getting scenes of them together?

Even though the cousins are "there" for each other they still are apart and that's due to all the toxic dynamics in the household. Everyone for themselves because everyone is too busy dealing with their own problems and lives.
