Ayesha Omar's character Soha, is not his old friend, she is the daughter of his father's friend and both the father's fixed the alliance, if you have watched the 1st episode you will know how Basit's father was influencing Basit to meet Soha and think about her.

It will be a deal between both, more than Basit, Ayesha needs the marriage because if she cannot provide monthly income her sister will lose her potential lover. So I think once Basit and Ayesha learns about each other's majboori's they will think they can marry for a year or so and get the matters solved.

Basit is firm, he does not want to heir a child and let the child suffer, I love it, true blue classic fictional man
