I love Suji ka halwa but don’t know how to make it… many of the South Indian sweets and North Indian sweets are my favourites but I only know how to make a very few of them…. But my mom makes suji ka kheer and it’s very tasty but I can’t make it for the life of me.

I am only 24 years old but married. I got married at the age of 23😔 I don't know sabudana ki kheer achi hoti hai ya nahi. First rasoi mein sabudana nahi kesari banana 😅

So guys since its Akshu's Rasoi day at Birla mansion today... I wanted to know from all of you what your first rasoi was at your in-laws ( and for those who aren't married yet... what would you cook/ or what is your signature dish)

P.S. what was your in-laws/bae's/ or anyone who's tasted your dish reaction towards your dish...

I'm not tagged, still can't miss such a lovely topic, there was no pehli rasoi kinda rasm at my in-laws, but I made turia sabzi, tomato Dal, chawal because there was no female at my in-laws.

It wasnt tasty still my DH and FIL had it without any negative comment.

I thank them as they didn't make any disparaging comments about my cooking.

Ur mil cooks!! Amazing.

I am not married but my friend is. She got married young. Her mil doesnt like to do anything. No cooking or any other household chores except finding faults in her.🤔

It does look very cool. I don’t have that in my culture so I never had these rituals/functions in my wedding.

the relationship I’ve built with my mother in law is everything, truly blessed to have such a good bond with her. She likes baking and cooking. I don't like cooking 😅 I'm not good at it. I prefer baking over cooking. My MIL is such a good woman. She cooks delicious food for me and my husband everyday. I am married to my cousin (my mother's sister's son) so my MIL is my aunt as well.
