I agree. In joint family I feel there is no privacy and there is power struggle as well. I know someone who lives in joint family with 3 brothers living together with their children. So they only have one kitchen. So fight happens who buys grocery so money. Like one is spending more other less. Then who make food. And if one cooks and other family does not like then its a problem. If u only cook for urself then its a problem.
