I have never in my life heard of such a thing but I’m not from India so I didn’t have a response for them. But logically it didn’t make sense, if househelps are being educated then why would they remain househelps?😆

Re: the education of househelps....so as far as I know, people usually support househelps with educating their children and families. The househelp herself/himself is usually too busy with ghar ke kaam to manage to focus much on their own education - there might be exceptions of people who can do backbreaking work all day and then go home to do some online course....lol but I don't think it's that widespread. It's usually their kids who get educated with support of the families they work for.
