I have always said that Akshu wanting to take the Birlas along and include them in everything is just an extension of her love for Abhi. She told him when they almost ran away and got married too that she sees through him. He loves his family deeply even if he doesn't always talk about it... underneath all of the toxicity, there is a love that has been lost over the years. She sees that without even knowing the extent of their traumas and whatever family histories are going to be uncovered now. She expresses her love differently than he does, but by healing these relationships, she is ultimately going to heal him and the pain he has witnessed since his childhood. It is going to be really beautiful to see how they both learn and grow together! Each and every moment they witnessed up until now has led them to this point, but their actual journey of togetherness starts now, because this show has always been about the journey of couples post-marriage!
